Proto J5280AG Chrome Steel 3/8" Speed Handle
I received Proto J5280AG speed handle in chromed steel, not Proto J5280G in powder-coated steel as described.Nice 3/8" drive chromed-steel speed handle with a fat palm ball for axial force application. All is well, but whoever is writing the Amazon listings for Proto J5280G and Proto J5280AG needs to stop mixing their meds.

Great tool! Proto tools will last a lifetime
Great tool! Proto tools will last a lifetime. This tool is made in the USA with quality materials. Proto tools are far superior to those made in China. I paid a fair price on Amazon delivered to my door, can't beat that!

Great
Does what a speed handle should do, able to get plenty of force behind.

I like the knob.
Not sure why some other reviewers didn't like the knob handle, it's the second best I've tried. The $55 Snap-on comfort grip is better, but this one is really good. The true strength of a speed handle is in breaking loose tough-to-remove screws. I put the knob in my palm and push into it with my my chest. It's the body weight pushing the bit into the screw-head that helps prevents torque-out and stripping. The longer, but slimmer, handles on most other speeders are not as much help. Or worse, there is a brand out there with a point on the rear end of the handle, imagine leaning into that. This is a really great tool.

Calidad pura
