These are absolutely the BEST childproofing items I've ever bought!Pros: ~You can adjust the length, and they are easy to open with one hand but ONLY for grown ups! ~They install INSTANTLY! So far these are doing a nice job on drawers in my coffee table and doors on my entertainment center, and the drawers are opened multiple times per day. I haven't tried them in the kitchen yet. My baby is only 10 months old, so time will tell if she can figure these out. She has messed with them some but isn't too interested in them yet. Based on other reviews that they can take the finish off your furniture, I will copy what one reviewer did by using a hair dryer (or heat gun) to heat the adhesive prior to removal.Edit: It's best if the latch part is installed at least 1/8 inch away from the drawer so that the drawer will not rub against it when you open the drawer, or the friction can cause the strap to break.Edit 7/24/16: The straps break at the notches with repeated use. The ones I have where one piece is around the corner from the other piece, the adhesive has failed with repeated use (maybe if I had allowed more slack in the strap they would have lasted longer). Disappointing. But there aren't many options out there for keeping drawers locked, so I will probably just have to keep buying these. If you just need latches for cabinets the magnetic kind probably is better.

I only just got these today, but I can tell you right now, they are amazing so far!My son is one year old and just starting to walk. And he gets into EVERYTHING; the oven, the garbage can the pantry... Etc.These cabinet locks are super easy to adjust and attach with a double sided foam pad. I put on on my oven door, one on the stove drawer, and one on the garbage. They are simple to open with one hand but totally hold up to my sons relentless exploration!Again I can't tell you how well they hold up over time, but they help keep him out of trouble for now, and I will take any amount of time with that!

I love these !! We have a 3 year old who constantly gets in the fridge. Doesn't every want anything, just wants to stare !!!! It was left open all night the other night. These have been a life saver ! Don't have to run him out of the fridge every 5 mins.!!

Loved this for the first 5 minutes, but my 2 year old figured out how to open it after seeing me open it. Works great for places I can keep out of reach, but not for low cabinets which is why I mainly wanted it.

Bought a bunch of these..the belt will break at 6-8 months. Good temporary solution.

Works great, but if you want to undo it and make it tighter, it's really really hard to unlatch it. No instructions so I had to be creative, but eventually I got it

These are the best childproof locks I love them my boyfriend slipped and fell one day in kitchen and when he fell he grabbed ahold of of of theses locks and it never broke or came attached lol very reliable
