Don't Let the Pigeon Finish This Activity Book!-Pigeon series Paperback – Coloring Book, October 2, 2012

I bought this for my daughter and she spent, like, 3 full days going through and doing all the activities.This book is much larger than I expected. I didn't look at anything about it prior to buying and when I got it and it was over 200 pages I was worried it would be too much. It's perfect though. More than just coloring and mazes or whatever is usually in activity books. I mean those are in there too but it's kinda got a running story, (bus driver, duckling, and obviously pigeon, are throughout the book talking to each other and the reader) LOTS of cutting activity, coloring, mazes, and building stuff (a bus [not kidding], a perfect airplane, etc).Honestly this activity book sets the bar pretty high for kids activity books and is well worth every penny. Especially if your little one(s) enjoy Mo Willams books

I am super impressed with this activity book!My kid isn’t into coloring, so he’s skipping that, but he’s doing everything else!He is 6, in first grade, and can read at about a first grade level. He is able to read all the instructions and do it all independently, except tearing out the pages, i do that part.So far we have played a board game, he’s written a book and we had a book reading and autograph party, he’s thrown an airplane at his airport, and is currently laying on his stomach doing some sort of word puzzle.I recommend letting your kid open it on Christmas Eve so they have something to do all day other then climb the walls!

Initially I was put off by the price but my son loves the pigeon series so I bought it. This book is huge, maybe 2 inches thick. It has a ton of activities in it. Great buy for pigeon fans.

My 5 year old loves this book! There's so much to do! It's so much more than a coloring book. There are things to cut, tape, play, fold, write, draw, and more. It's so much fun and it's a story at the same time. This is absolutely worth the money!

This activity book is packed. My grand daughter is 4 1/2 and some of it is a little advanced for her but she BEGS to do it every time she's over. It's nice together time for us because I sit with her and read her what the instructions are- such as color these, draw the pigeon, trace the path etc. There are pages that you pull/cut out of the book and make things out of. Since she is a big fan of the pigeon books by Mo Williams -she really warms to the characters in the activity book. Overall- a great purchase.

This activity book is huge! It is much higher quality than I expected and is as thick as a decent novel. It has a wide variety of activities that are all fun and engaging. My daughter is five and just learning to read so she needs some assistance still. However, we save it for fun activities to do together and it’s really special and a huge hit with her!

My children (now 4 and 7) have done each of the Mo Willems activity books twice now. I can't recommend them highly enough! This is a HUGE book and it can and will keep your child happily engaged for weeks. The activities are much more than the average coloring/maze activity books you'd pick up at the drugstore. There's a tossing game, a board game, a book that the child writes, puppets to make, a puppet show to perform, a poster, decorating the Pigeon's house, a newspaper to write, etc. My four year old works on this with a parent and my first-grader can do most of the pages independently but "Big Activities" (like doing a book signing) do require a bit of parent support. This book has Mo Willems' signature sense of humor that my kids just love and find so engaging. Beyond having fun...I've seen both of my kids really develop their fine motor skills from working through this book. My older child is not prone to sitting and drawing or coloring, and this book has really engaged him. It's a great activity book for ages 4 and up, and particularly a wonderful find for kids who are more reluctant artists.

This book taught my 4-year old son to write (he was already reading prior to the book) and overcome fear of drawing. It is a very engaging, fun, and playfully educating gigantic activity book. Absolutely priceless!!! Thank you!P.S. Considering purchasing again!
