I cannot express enough my gratitude to Tone-A-Matic for developing the TAMTEC SPORT 4 Plus electronic simulator. After 4 major spine surgeries over the past 5 years, I was left with titanium caging on 4 of my lumbar vertebrae, a morphine pump in my abdomen that delivers the medication via a catheter directly to my spinal cord, multiple compression fractures on several of my thoracic vertebrae that remain inoperable, muscle atrophy in legs, and a huge amount of pain still in my back and legs.Between the first and 4th surgery I was confined to a wheelchair because walking was impossible due to pain, and my muscles atrophied by at least 60% during that time. Even after a combined year in physical rehab facilities and uncountable weeks of in and out patient physical therapy, I was still confined to a bed for 20+ hours a day. The only non opiate therapy that seemed to help was the TENS, and IFC, Electro Muscular Stimulation (EMS) treatments I received during that period. Unfortunately, when I was deemed well enough to go home, those treatments stopped and an indescribable pain level plagued me 24/7 for years. I had given up all hope for a future. This device changed all that and significantly improved my quality of life.Unfortunately, it took me approximately 8 other units and around $800 wasted on them before I found it. There are so many units out there it is difficult to know which will offer the relief you need. Most of them are the same unit produced in India and then labeled with the local sellers brand name on it. None of them provided the relief I needed, and one actually caused severe burns and blistering on my skin. However, after learning a little more each time I purchased one of those inefficient imports, I was finally able to refine my search results to find a unit which provided professional level strength, a price point I could afford, and most importantly, significant relief from the excruciating pain I endured whenever I moved. This unit was the Tone-A-Matic TAMTEC Sport 4 Plus.With the aid of the unit: I have regained much of my lost muscle mass, have reduced my pain level to a mostly manageable level, and can now move without the aid of a wheel chair, walker, crutches, or cane. The device has returned to me a quality of life which I had previously lost hope on achieving. It is nothing short of miraculous and the absolute best product on the market today. Additionally, the sales team was efficient, supportive, and patient, with the numerous emails I sent with questions regarding the devices capabilities.Do not waste your money on an inferior product that may be a few dollars cheaper or even more expensive. I have a stack of those collecting dust in my closet. However, if you suffer from Back Pain, Muscle Fatigue, Neuropathy, etc., this device will change your life. It is simple to use, comes with many extras, and is supported by a team of dedicated professionals who were too kind in answering all my questions both, before, and after the sale.My handicap will never change due to the trauma my spine endured. However, the level of pain I must live with daily is so greatly reduced through the use of this product that I will never be without one again. My only regret is not getting it sooner because I did not find a full review of the product.Manage your pain now! Get this product.

I bought this unit after the COVID lockdown shut down my physical therapy for a knee replacement. The instructions are clear, you have to follow the bit about wetting the electrodes. The machine is easy to use but do heed the warning about turning it up too high, it's a powerful little beast. I've had no problems with the wire harness or the electrodes. Exercise some caution making the connections and they'll last a long time.I haven't figured out what the different settings are good for but I'm using strength, endurance, and recovery under ice packs the way my PT therapist did after working out and I have no pain with the knee replacement, so that's saying something.At the same time this unit isn't a replacement for a workout. If you can't work out because of injury - that seems to be what it's best for. But I'm an engineer not a therapist so your mileage may vary.I'm not sure what the outline of the body does to help the user, you have to use the instructions and follow them! Personally I'd change the GUI up a bit but that's just years of experience of working on interfaces. My suggestions would also make the unit more expensive. It's worth every penny as it is. Put the engineer's stuff in there and it might be more user oriented but value for money would go down. Since it's more expensive than some of the competition that's probably not a good idea.I would like to be able to use it with a AC to DC power converter. I may make that mod later.I ended up shaving patches of leg hair off to get better contact and not pull hair when taking off the electrodes; that's a tip not a complaint. I'm using this every two days so my skin was getting sensitive from all the hair pulling. No hair, no irritation.Don't accidentally leave it turned on, it will drain the battery.In conclusion this machine cost more but it's well worth the money. I would recommend this for anybody and given that it helps a guy with a new knee I'd say it's doing exactly what I bought it for.

We originally got this to help my elderly aunt develop muscle on her legs to help her walk again per recommendation from her Physical Therapist using the Russian Stim mode. This really helped as she was immobile. She is now walking with just a cane.I have been a nurse for many years so I’ve developed issues like tennis elbow and I use this to help break the scar tissue up and promote healing in those areas.I recently was hit from behind and developed whiplash so my chiropractor said the IFC mode would be best for this.I’ve had to call customer service twice. I had a battery that was bad. They sent me two replacements right away. We have had it two months and a spring in the battery compartment broke so they are sending me a new one right away so I can start my whiplash treatments and I’m sending the new one back. Customer service is amazing!!I would highly recommend getting the four instead of two so you can do two sides of the body at once.Also, when it is in use, you can walk around by simply putting it inside one of those small lightweight draw string backpacks with the top part of the machine facing away from your back. The lines will come out of the top. The lines should reach most body parts if you’re not too too tall.I appreciate the chart that came with it for pad placement. I would love for someone to make online videos showing how to place the pads for various things like tennis elbow and which modes would be most helpful. I can tell that even if you’re doing your best guess, you’re not hurting the area using one of the healing currents as far as I can tell.This thing is amazing and customer service will care for you no matter what the issue.
