A while back I bought some seven grain breakfast cereal that was so chewy that it made me think they must have had horses in mind when they made it. I tried to grind it up in a blender but the oats turned to dust and the resulting porridge was about as appetizing as library paste. I bought this grain mill because it seemed like the right tool for the job. I couldn't be happier with the result. It's easy to control how finely it grinds. Turning it is not that hard a chore. The resulting cereal was delicious with a much better mouth feel. When you get yours you won't believe you can by something made out of so much metal this cheap. Highly recommended.

EVERYTHING about this is just wrong. The quality is so unbelievably below par. The I-bolt stripped right away, the amount of grinding you have to do to get a fine grain on anything makes the entire process worse. I used a pad under the mill, where it connects to the table and between the pressure and friction from having to constantly reposition it made wore the finished off of our NICE table. This thing isn't a grain mill, it's just a low grade grinder. I don't even know an application where this thing would serve a purpose, other than to fill you with rage. The hopper is a different metal than the rest of it. The metal of the grinder seems very soft, almost like aluminum.....with all the effort that goes into grinding wheatberries (I grinded it four times and it was still the consistency of cornmeal) on this thing, I imagine whatever the metal is is getting into the grain....."it's a no from me, dawg." Not to mention the remnants fly about and make the kitchen look like a mouse had a full on family reunion by the grinder and surrounding floor.

a bit flimsy but just adde a couple extra washers to make grinding wheel firm and not move when grinding good enough for what i will be using it grinding chicken feed only have 8 chickens so this is good for now

My arm muscles are getting built up but this product works. Grinds my pigeons food a bit so they eat more variety

This product is apparently painted in some kind of silver paint that, I discovered while cooking, transfers into the food during the grinding process. It does grind the corn into grits but it was hard work, yet good exercise. I very concerned that this product because of the paint my not meet USstandards.

I must grind dog kibble for a dog with serious illness. With this grain grinder I have equipment that can crush kibble. Previously I broke a food processor and-an immersion blender. This grain grinder allows me to feed her the same amount she ate before the illness. This is my first grinder so I could have used some Instructions but I figured it out.

Easy to use. Perfect size. Would buy again!!!
