Solid hold
I liked that it holds my camera reeled up but with a little pull it’s available for instant use.Have always trusted these for securing my gear while diving and ensuring that all my expensive items come back to the surface with me.

great for a heavy torch, excellent quality
Had and used one before this replacement (lost it !) great bit of gear for when you are diving for crayfish you can drop the torch to grab the cray and know you aint going to lose it !

Gear Keeper Locking Retractor RT3-5912
Not the cheapest solution, but it works well. We sail and kayak and like to take pictures along the way. We needed a secure fastening system that would work in highly unstable environments and allow quick, one-handed access to our waterproof camera. The Gear Keeper appears to be the best solution. If we drop our camera it simply retracts to our life vest. When we need to use it, we pull it out, point and shoot. You can lock it when not in use.

Bought 2 before our trip to Bonaier. Wish We had bought 4. Worked great. She put her camera rig on 1. Me a light. Both kept exactly where we wanted what we had on 'em. Did buy 2 more when we got home. Love the different attachment options.
