5.5" 2560x1440 Light Curing Display for EPAX X1 LCD 3D Printer

I needed to replace the LCD screen on my Elegoo Mars 3D LCD Mask Resin printer. I was unsure if the EPAX SX04 was a perfect replacement. It is. Furthermore, it came with an adhesive seal that prevents any incursion of liquid resin and helps keep the resin vat from sticking to the LCD's surface. Installation was exactly the same as the Elegoo instructions. My machine is an MO3 build so the LCD installation required removal of the motherboard to get to its rear. I did not disconnect the key pad screen, but simply and carefully moved it and the front cover out of the way. Installation took about 15 minutes which included cleaning resin spills that were on the outside of the covers. I just ran my first complicated print with the new screen and it was perfect. Just a note: LCD screens in these machines are considered a consumable item with a lifespan of around 400 hours. I've just started a log to track it's long-term performance and will amend this review if necessary.

Bought to replace my stock anycubic Photon 2k lcd screen after I left resin in the vat for almost 2 months and it leaked and ruined the old one.It comes with an adhesive strip (sticker?) that goes around the new screen and the frame of where it sits in to prevent any leaks. However, mine came with some folds/wrinkles in it that caused some issues, and you can't really straighten them after it's been bent. I found it this was causing me to had bed leveling issues because my vat was sitting on it. I re-leveled and tested and after a few small failures on my prints I removed the strip and re-leveled again. After that prints were 100% golden.installing it is difficult if you have big hands, but that's not the fault of the product, but the casing and wiring of the photon.I've been using it almost two months now with no issues. Would recommend.

The media could not be loaded.  My OEM screen failed four months in. As a noob, I ordered a screen from Anycubic only to wait just 2 days shy of two weeks for it to arrive, only to have the vat rip the screen out two days later. Tore the cable completely out.Long story made short. In desperation I tried this terrific screen. It has the protective glass preinstalled, no backlight, drops right into my original Photon, and even came with a Super Deluxe rectangular sticker that seals against resin leaks as we all really makes the new screen become one with the machine. I will buy again, and again. I can't Express what a relief this was for my situation, and the next day delivery is soooooo much better than two ridiculously long weeks it took for Anycubic to get me a screen.

The cable is too thick to fit through the gap in an Anycubic Photon without damage. I'm sure it works great on an Epax, but otherwise avoid this.

The LCD has little adhesive tabs to hold the cable in place, so you don't have to tape it down.I bought mine to replace my Anycubic Photon S screen. This screen is slightly thinner than the original screen, but it still works fine after re-leveling the build platform.My original screen lasted a whopping 1000 print-hours, so at half the price, if I get 400-500 out of this one I'll be happy.

I just received this today. Installation was relatively easy, although the cable connection can be really frustrating. I like the sticker for the boundary, but I had some trouble getting it flush and there is a little fold that I hope won't affect the prints. I was very happy that it tested as working as I bought a screen a couple days ago for about half the price that didn't work.Update: I have printed 4 miniature figures with the new LCD and it seems to be working perfectly.

Easy install and perfectly fits my Anycubic Photon. Item was nicely packaged and includes some optional parts to help with adhesion to your machine.
