Fluorescent bulb is replacable.
What I liked about the desk magnifying lamp with the fluorescent bulb is that the bulb is replaceable when it eventually burns out. I thought this option was superior to the desk magnifying lamp with L.E.D. lighting which is not repairable once the L.E.D. bulbs burn out.

The best magnifier bench light out there
I now own about 6 or 7 of these, for several large work benches in my shop. They are absolutely the very best bench light out there, as far as any I've tried. Just be sure to step up and order the "flat surface desk mount" for it - the clamp system is fine for temporary use but if you want real solid operation, you really need the desk mount.Great lights - long life, very solid construction and work like dream

Very nice, exactly what I wanted and hoped for
Very nice, exactly what I wanted and hoped for. Only complaint is I also noticed it was Harbor Freight branded and I could have just bought locally, gotten same day for lower price. I wish it said that instead "by HFT"Very happy with it.

I can see!
The Magnifying lamp works great! The Swotch is a little awkward location but works.I would reccomend to anyone needing more light and stronger vision to buy this lamp

This lamp is nice and bright
This lamp is nice and bright. I like that has a plastic shield over the light bulb itself, as it is used in a workshop that gets quite dusty. The arm can be positioned pretty well and holds its placement well. When not looking through the magnifying glass, I extend it up overhead and use it to illuminate the benchtop as extra "task" lighting.

I love this product
I love this product, and use it daily. This is my second lamp, the first one was a different company, and lasted only 2 years, one of the pieces broke of, but I had to replace it, so I got this one....It works great for now,

Inline with price
So far so good. Right for the price point. Make sure you clamp on a wide enough surface. I add a small 2x4 block under bench top. Now clamps ok.
