This book is a great review for nursing students, nurses, and nurse practitioners as well as physician assistants, and includes 10 questions at the end of each chapter and a chapter at the end of the book with 100 questions.

I passed, and that's all that matters!
I let my kindle read to me as I reviewed before my exams. I would say it helped because I passed my courses!!!

The print is fading and non-readable
The book seems like it would’ve been good besides the print seeming as if it was running out of ink. I actually ordered this from Barnes and Nobles, they sent me another copy and that one was exactly the same. A lot of the words you had to figure out what was being said. I had to quickly realize that “pitch” wasn’t “bitch” lol. This book was a pet peeve to me with all of the blurs. I will also leave this review on Barnes and Nobles, but I’m doing it on here too because people would probably buy on Amazon with cheaper prices first. I just want to warn everyone, especially people that are students and using this for Nursing School.

OK..., Does not support understanding of how to answer NCLEX Questions
If you are looking to become a bare bones RN and want to get beginning understanding of health assessment, this will do the job, but I don't recommend this books for nursing students. All the sample questions in this book are written at the "knowledge level" vs. Critical thinking. This will not prepare you to answer questions in nursing school or for the US board exam - NCLEX.

First impression is I like it.
I like the other "DeMSYSTifFieD" titles so I thought I would try this one. Haven't opened it yet.

Great (brief) resource, wish it was in color but if it's good enough for my prof to reference it's good enough for me!
So far I really like this book but one problem I have is that the book doesn't indicate when it's talking about an established key concept; nor does it have a bunch of awesome nursing tips/tricks like the other books in this series have had. One thing that sort of speaks to the validity of this series is that I saw this book on the desk of my professor for health assessment lol! Overall, it gives you a SUPER condensed version of the health assessment.. It could be that my program is kinda stupid, but a lot of our testing questions come from abnormal processes (like symptom and disease identification) and while this book did a great job covering the basic diseases that we all sort of have a common knowledge of, for my program it would've been helpful if it talked about more abnormalities. Also, there were a ton of pictures that were pretty helpful, but like with the other Demystefied books I've purchased, none of the pictures are in color which really hinders learning for things like the normal color of the tympanic membrane and for some of the skin lesions it was hard to grasp. But again, on it's validity: the fact that the pictures being black/white wasn't too big of a deal because the book often used the exact pictures that my textbook used.
