it can motivate and inspire people that don't even like basketball. Through out the book Nate tells us ...
The book Heart Over Height by Nate Robinson was a very inspirational and motivational book. In the book Nate Robinson tells us all of his mile stones and hardships all the while being only 5'9. The book tells his whole story from being a young kid growing up in Seattle Washington to being an NBA star. This book can and should be read, it can motivate and inspire people that don't even like basketball. Through out the book Nate tells us everything he went through to achieve his dream to be in the NBA. He also tells us all his hardships before playing professional basketball and he even describes his hardships when he was playing professional. This book shows you how if you work hard, believe in your self and set goals that you can make it very far. Nate Robinson is known by many for being that little guy that plays in the NBA but this book shows you so much more about him, it shows you what a hard working, caring and friendly man he is. The book describes how Nate being short was not going to stop him. Nate always said in the book how people would always judge him and make fun of him for being small, so he took all of that and turned it into a long and successful NBA career. The book basically tells us that in Nate's life he faced so many more problems then being short, from having troubles as a child to having troubles in the NBA Nate overcame it to be a very successful man. I recommend this boom for people who want to see the life and story of an NBA player and how with hard work and dedication that your dreams can really become a reality

Could have been 5 star......could have been 2 star.
What a story.Nate has written this story too soon. Maybe should have written when he becomes 40/45 years of age.Parts of this story are spellbinding. Just an amazing story.I am really pleased that I purchased this story.Simply an incredible athlete..........Too be admired and respected. You get the feeling Nate May have wanted to write / maybe rewrite history before he forgot and before key aspects of his journey became institution aliased by others. It would have been balanced to hear from key decision makers during his NBA career and maybe from journalists who have alternative interpretations and view to Nate.I still feel Nate has so much more to write about and share with his fans and supporters ( and maybe his detractors!)I had a brief look at his website which I recommend.A professional athlete has a short career.Hopefully Nate has invested his money well. Will Nate become a coach in the NBA.? Will he travel and play or coach overseas?

Both are good player. I wanted to give them the encouragement ...
Bought these books for my for my grandson and granddaughter, who are in1st 2nd year college playing basketball. Both are good player. I wanted to give them the encouragement needed for young and upcoming athletes who are good playerswith great stats, but are often over looked.it is also a good book to encourage them to never give up.I always tell them that there are thousands of great kids out there that never make the pros, but have fun and enjoy their college years.I also read it myself, Know his mother great people, Good Book.Margaret buie

Well worth the read
I am one of the parents that Nate is referring to. I have sent him a message or two on twitter thanking him for what he has done for my son's confidence. While my kid's story isn't fully written yet, he is a very talented 8 year old basketball. He has been the smallest kid on the court since he was 5. Nate's story gives him a reason to say "why not me"? Heart Over Height is a great motto. The book is a very quick read, but is great for kid's and parents alike. My only problem is the Knicks let this man go!

An Enjoyable Read for Basketball Fans.
If you are a basketball fan, you will enjoy Nate Robinson's story. His determination and persistence are impressive. I was a Nate fan when he played for the Celtics, and this book endeared him to me even more. As the shortest player in the NBA, he certainly had obstacles to overcome. The book is inspirational, and I plan to share it with my grandson, a 12-year-old basketball and soccer player who is always the smallest guy on the team.

Quick feel good story
I enjoyed this book, it was a quick read where you get to see Nate's career and how he got over his height disadvantage by sheer skill. It's a pretty straightforward story, nothing too sensational but still entertaining

Heart over height book review
I gave this item a 4 star rating, because I bought the book as a gift and it didnt come in any cover or protection, it was just laying in the box. So some of the sides are a little bit damaged , which is not ok.Other than that, everything is great. It arrived in a day or few.
