Flickers when battery power is low
I have four of these hybrids and this is almost as good as the older ones I have, bright and easy to use but the others when the battery is running down just drop into dim mode but this one flickers it’s really annoying and if this is a new way of telling you it’s running low on power it’s a bad idea if you have epilepsy or anything else that could be triggered by strobing this light isn’t for you

Bright headtorch, but headband is tight
The torch has 3 white light settings (dim, medium and very bright), plus one red light setting. The batteries last a long time with it and it's well made. Petzl are a good make and its worth paying the extra for their gear.I'd give it 5 stars, but it is let down by the size of the headband. If your hat size is 58 or smaller, you'll be OK, but if your head is any larger, this will be tight on your head and there is no way of adjusting it any larger. hat size 58 is about average head size I think. Measure your head (while wearing winter headgear) before you buy!

Worth the money
Much better than a cheaper version i had bought before. I did the National Three Peaks with my non Petzl headtorch and, it did the job. I then did the Welsh 3 peaks two months later with a Petzl and the difference in light is massive. Good light with great range both depth and peripheral. Happy to recommend. Only given 4 stars as I've only used it for the one event so far so haven't fully tested it out, was only needed for two mountains, max usage was around 8-9hrs. Didn't need to change batteries mind. Cheers!

So dissapointed with seller
Item OK, but scratch mark all over especially where you put batteries, you could see it was used, visibly repacked into original plastic box and sealed with glue. Meant to be Christmas present but I would be embarrassed to give it to my other half.

Happy with it for night runs
Works well at 100 lumen on dark night runs. If needed, there's the brighter setting.
