Solid laptop for medium-duty needs
So far so good. I bought this computer after I returned a newly purchased laptop to target that I had bought for around $300. I guess you get what you pay for, although I didnt quite understand why a new laptop, even one that was fairly cheaply priced, would be so slow to the point of being basically useless (and I'm talking about for basic internet browsing and music/video streaming). I made sure to ask a few friends why the one that I had bought had these issues and what I would need in a different laptop to fit my needs (more ram, better processor and an ssd, it turned out). This one fit all of those criteria at a decent price and gas performed the way I had hoped it would. I can't speak for gamers or those doing things such as video editing, but for keeping multiple tabs and programs open at once this computer performs very well.

Good laptop, bad battery
Decent laptop, boots up fast but dont expect more than 2 hours battery life unless you want to turn your screen off and guess what you're typing.

The brand name "Acer" was my determining factor in purchasing
I have only used my notebook a few times awaiting classes to begin.
