Excellent quality, really lives up to the Breitling name. The size of the operator's manual can be a little intimidating, but once you understand the operation of the stem and buttons it's easy. This is a very nice looking watch.

PURCHASED FROM AN AUTHORIZED BREITLING DEALER LAST WEEK.THE WATCH ALTHOUGH LARGE AT 46 MM WIDTH & 16 MM IN HEIGHT IS EXTREMELY LIGHT & COMFORTABLE SINCE IT IS TITANIUM & THE BAND IS VERY SOFT RUBBER WITH A TITANIUM CLASP.EVEN IF YOUR WRIST IS SMALL LIKE MINE YOU WILL HARDLY BE AWARE OF ITS DIMENSIONS.THE FEATURES ARE STANDARD FOR HIGH END ANALOG DIGITAL WATCHES INCLUDING CHRONOGRAPH, ALARM , TIMER , DATE WITH DAY OF WEEK & MONTH & WEEK OF THE YEAR AS WELL.THE ALARM IS A BIT LOW ( ONLY DISAPPOINTMENT SO FAR).THE ALARM CAN BE WITH A VIBRATOR AS WELL WHICH COMPENSATES TO SOME DEGREE..THE PILOT FUNCTIONS CAN BE BLOCKED IF YOU ARE NOT AN AVIATOR & DO NOT WISH TO SCROLL THROUGH THESE FUNCTIONS.IT KEEPS EXCELLENT TIME SO FAR TO THE SECOND ( CHECK WITH NIST OFFICIAL TIME). RATED AS A SUPER QUARTZ & SHOULD BE ACCURATE TO +OR - 15 SECNDS YEARLY.THE DIGITAL DISPLAY WAS THE DEAL MAKER FOR ME.IT IS REMARKABLY BRIGHT & CLEAR WITH THE BACKLIGHT ON.ONLY PROBLEM IS THAT THIS WILL EAT UP THE BATTERY WHICH IS RECHARGEABLE. SO BETTER HAVE YOUR CHARGER HANDY OR KEEP ANOTHER WATCH IN YOUR POCKET AS A BACKUP.ALL IN ALL WELL WORTH THE PRICE IF YOU CAN GET A DISCOUNT OR ARE WELL HEELED.PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO READ THE MANUAL ( 55 PAGES) SO THAT YOU'LL GET THE MOST FROM THIS WATCH.MAKE SURE YOU SET THE UTC FIRST OR YO WONT GET ACCURATE TIME 1 & TIME 2. EVERTHING ELSE WILL FALL INTO PLACE AFTERWARDS & HOPEFULLY YOU'LL ENJOY THIS WATCH AS MUCH AS ME.OTHER ANALOG DIGITALS THAT I OWN ( TISSOT T TOUCH, HAMILTON AVIATOR, & A VERY ELEGANT CONCORD ANALOG DIGITAL WHICH IS HARD TO FIND ANYMORE) ARE ALL EXCELLENT TIMEPIECES, BUT THE BREITLING COCKPIT B50 IS A FEW NOTCHES ABOVE.

My wife bought this watch for me the other day. Got tired of looking at my Sea Master still working and looking fine after 25+ years and decided I needed a watch from this century. Being a techy guy it appealed to me but blew my mind that she actually "liked" the way this looked; so I certainly didn't argue. This watch is an acquired taste. It may not appeal to "real" watch aficionados who don't give two sh__ts for anything without a mechanical movement. After a while mechanical watches can be a pain to keep wound or reset and cost a fortune to maintain when you reach that stage. Anyway, I have the version with the black dial and titanium band...and I love it in spite of the fact that I had to read a 59 page manual to set it up....techy guys actually read those things so I didn't mind the challenge. The watch was purchased from a brick and mortar store. A well known, well stocked, well respected Breitling AD. It is not a jewelry-like dress watch by any stretch. There are dozens of optional settings. It is mind boggling. Although I am a frequent Amazon customer I can not testify about an online experience buying this watch but I can tell you once you decide which version appeals to you and get past the ransom you will be very happy with the precision quality, function and appearance of the watch itself. Probably nobody but you and I will have any idea how unique it is.
