Not great
I wanted to like this as it seemed like a great idea. ..diaper cream that doesn't get on your hands and can be spread with one hand. But. ...it's just not great. First, once you put the cream in, it's not easy to clean out should you need to. It's also not really easy to squeeze up the cream depending on the brand you use. I would say this is NOT for thick creams like Triple Paste or other thicker consistencies. They say put in the dishwasher, but yeah right. Trust me, just get the Bum brush spatula thing and call it a day. ..easy to wipe those clean, still no diaper cream on your hands, one hand application. Done. This was kinda a waste of money as its not getting used now.

convenient product to have on hand, I really like it.
This product works really well to apply any diaper rash cream product. It is easy to fill and disperse the right amount. The applicator is soft, my baby doesn't seem to mind it when I'm applying her cream with it. It saves time not having to wash the cream off your hands and to me, is more hygienic. I also like the fact the applicator can be cleaned. I like it so much I bought one for my sister to use with her baby and one for my daughter's daycare to have on hand.

What's a Type-B Tube?
We decided to try this product as our 16 month old son has recently had a streak of diaper rashes and we have found ourselves apply more creams and ointments than normal. While we aren't afraid to "touch the butt" like Nemo, we wanted to see if a product like this would aid in application. We were specifically drawn to this product because of it's ability to attach directly to the tube of cream. Here are some opinions we were able to conclude after using the product:Pros:1. Its dishwasher safe! When I see that on any product it immediately gets bonus points, and this applicator is no exception. While it may not seem like a big deal, let me assure you it is. When our son was young we had another applicator that was more "spatula" like. We were pretty good about wiping the applicator down with at least a baby wipe, but we still traced a run of rashes to use of said spatula. Our pediatrician informed us that this can be a common issue as bacteria can get in the material itself and be hard to clean off. The fact that this item can be thrown in the dishwasher on the sanitize setting leads us to believe that we won't have the same issue. We have just been placing it in the dishwasher at the end of the day after our son has gone to sleep for the night and we've had no issues yet.2. The cap part goes into the center of the applicator when not in use to that if the tub gets squeezed, no extra product comes out.3. Our son thinks that this is the coolest thing ever. I thought about placing this in the cons section because he literally thinks its a toy, and that's pretty inconvenient when you're trying to wipe his bottom with it, but ultimately I decided that the fact he loves it is a good thing.4. It comes with a container part so that if your favorite paste doesn't fit the applicator (see cons below) you could still squeeze out the tube you have into said container and use the applicator anyway.Cons:1. What's a type-b tube you might ask? Well, its the type of tube for nearly all pastes/ointments/creams except for our favorites. We frequently use aquaphor and butt paste as they seem to clear up his rashes the quickest and these are too large to screw the applicator on and use that way. While i'm not going to dock the product for my lack of knowing what a type-b tube was, be cautious and check out what style your fav cream is before purchasing. We sometimes use A&D, which does fit this applicator. We have yet to use the included container as squeezing out our favorite/expensive creams isn't appealing to us.2. The bristle style applicator is a neat idea, but we find that a lot of product gets wasted between the bristles. to prevent a loss of product, you have to press the applicator to the skin pretty firmly. While our son has not seemed to mind, we feel that on already sore skin this might not be comfortable.Overall, we love the idea of twisting on a cap and being able to apply product without getting our hands dirty. We will have to do some further research to see if there is another product that is intended for the larger style tubes. Should our opinions change, we will update this review.

Mixed feelings
I got mixed feelings about this item. On one hand I wanna love it because it does applying baby cream easier but on the other hand when it’s time to clean the cream from the bristles is going to consume time... if I just do it with my hands I just wash my hands and done with it. Also keep in mind you don’t have to clean it after every application or use.. but there comes a point when you do need to clean it up because old cream is going to set in between the silicon bristles that btw are very soft in baby skin.Again, I got mixed feelings... I totally feel the intention of this product and I like it but I also feel lazy about the dreaded moment to clean the brush. Is up to you if you don’t mind cleaning and washing every now and then.

Gentle on baby’s skin and sanitary!
This Baby Bottom Buddy Diaper Rash Cream Applicator is very unique! It allows you to gently apply diaper ointment or lotion to baby’s bottom with out touching his/her bottom and exposing a diaper rash to more germs (plus keeps your hands clean). You can simply squeeze product into this dispenser or you can use the adapter that’s included in this product to dispense directly from the original container. The silicone applicator is very gentle and can be easily washed after each use to keep germs away. This also comes with a clear plastic top to cover the applicator tip to help keep it sanitary too. See my pictures for details. Overall, I recommend this product.

AWESOME and so helpful
I can’t believe it took me 2 1/2 yrs of parenting to find this. I make my own creams and this is perfect! I LOVE that you can use the brush head on a typical tube of butt cream but you have the option to make/use your own with the silicone container. Way better than having cream all over your hands. Awesome product. Great having the prong on the plastic cap to keep the hole open and to prevent creams from drying and clogging the hole.
