GoPro Rechargeable Battery (HERO8 Black/HERO7 Black/HERO6 Black) - Official GoPro Accessory

I bought this product and writing this review after using it for a few months. I have to say that this battery held out holds out and is a great little battery. If you need an extra battery for your GoPro I recommend this I would buy it again. It works perfectly.

Perfect

My original HERO7 battery had degraded to just ~30 minutes of video before crapping out. The HERO7 battery was out of stock and overpriced. So, I searched the Internet and discovered the HERO8 battery was reputed to work in the HERO8. Amazon has good return policies, so I gave it a shot. And I'm happy to report that after an hour of recording my HERO7 still reported 57% battery left! So, it works great!

The thing with my generation of gopros is they burn through batteries really quick. Not a con on the battery, but having more of these is always a good idea.

Wanted genuine gopro as I have found that the cheaper off brand batteries may start off good but after using a while they don't hold much of a charge. I didn't notice the statement that these are used (probably wouldn't have ordered it). Usually don't see used products on amazon. However it holds a charge better than my existing battery and it doesn't look used.

So simple. Plug in and go. Brought my old camera back to life. Still gathering my footage on the Hero 8 Black. I’ll keep using it until it no longer works.

Battery works but unfortunately our GoPro8 has the red light if “death” still showing and no signs of improvement
