Ace Evert 3862002 Suntracker Dual Funtion Market and Offset in One Umbrella, 9-Feet, Beige

I started out investigating this product as the details available here are very poor. I finally located and called the distributor. After about 1 week, the sales manager finally got back to me with details about this umbrella. I was sold. I had questions regarding how it raised (crank or just push it up). It is a crank and a very nice crank assembly. It also has an extension that raises the unit by about 2 ft. This comes in handy when you have the head and arm at their maximum angle. It also comes with a nice base that needs to be weighted or screwed down. 1 x 1 or 2x2 patio cement patio tiles work well.Overall, it seems to be a very solid unit. the bottom angle adjust is very nice and sturdy. The top is the push and click like you find on most umbrella's. I had it up and at it's extreme angles and experienced 20 mph gusts. It seemed to ride the wind very nicely! I did bring it down, but was happy it handled that wind the way it did.Good hardware, good quality fabric, only drawback is it's only 9'

This did not last a season and the lift cable broke .For what this cost I am not impressed with the crank mechanism .As for as I am concerned I will just buy the $100 dollar units they last just as long maybe longer .This is just bells and whistles.Not worth it.

After two openings the umbrella would not open. Crank system broken. Sent it back.
