DB Electrical 410-12443 Starter Compatible With/Replacement For Cadillac 2003 Escalade, Escalade Esv, Escalade Ext, Chevrolet Camaro 1988-2001

Bought for my Hummer H2 which was a perfect fit. It did not come with new bolts like most but not a deal breaker. When compared side by side, this unit looks exactly like the original. Bought DB Electric products before and had good luck so here I am again for a different vehicle. Hopefully it lasts as long as the original did, approx. 175000 miles.

Replaced a Chevy Silverado 2500 6.0L year 2000. Engine would continuously crank and not stop even when removing the key. It would drain the battery and made it difficult to start the engine. I ruled out ignition relay issue. Sometimes engine starts up normally. When stuck cranking, I cannot jump start battery due to a grounding in the starter. So, I suspected it being an issue with the starter solenoid. I finally got it replaced with this unit. It fires up great and I can finally have peace of mind. I'm not a mechanic but I try to do most of the wrenching myself. I squeezed into the crevice under the front passenger side wheel and didn't have to remove the wheel. This was a relatively easy job. The quality of the part is very good and don't worry too much on how cheap the price is.

Sounds nice and had it for a 7 months no issues sounds great like it should with old starter it sounded like a old chevy but this starter has held up good nice and quiet

The starter works great and was easy to install but only came with one bolt. The shipping was fast and iteam was packaged good.I will update if things change.

I needed to replace the starter on a 20 year old vehicle. This starter was about 1/4 the price of others. Quality looks good, exact fit, no core to ship back. It is made in China so hopefully it will last a few years.

Works for my 2002 6.0L LS.Slightly larger case than original, but fits perfectly.

Starter works great, way better than the ac delco reman which failed.The only issue is that the original design uses one long and one short bolt, this starter uses 2 long bolts.That bolt is only available from the dealer and retails for $50 cdn. I' sure that they could copy it and supply the needed bolt in the package for far less than that.
