New review. My mistake. Had to reset the clock with new batteries.

The hourly chimes are beautiful. This time of year, we’re greeted to a lovely Christmas tune every hour. We love watching the clock’s moves while playing the melodies. In this digital world, this analog timekeeper is a welcome addition to our living area.

I love everything about this wall clock! The different melodies to chose from while the face is in motion. Including a Christmas option that I can't wait to listen to in the near future. From the elegance of the clock to the beautiful Swarovski crystals. I also appreciate that it has a light sensor so, that it goes silent for the evening hours. This clock just makes me happy!

Took a bit to get used to the difference. I had one that broke so replaced it with this one. At first the music was all off key. I almost returned it but then decided to replace the enclosed batteries with new ones and tada- it's perfect. Can't wait for the holiday season to switch to the Christmas themed tunes.

We've had it up for 3 months so far and I still haven't gotten tired of listening to it. My kids, however, are very tired of me yelling out ODE TO JOY at the top of every hour as I try to predict what it's going to play (hint: it's almost never Ode to Joy). The classical song selections and Christmas song selections are great (aside from Amazing Grace - not sure how that qualifies as classical), but the other set is terrible and we'll never choose it again after about a week of groaning every hour.The clock itself is very plasticky, but it's pretty enough and for that price point I wasn't expecting a family heirloom. It's also HUGE - way bigger than I was expecting so check the measurements if that matters to you. The movements that accompany the music are fun to watch and the light detecting feature that keeps it from playing in the middle of the night works really well.If Seiko offers another design I really like I'll definitely get another one for a different room. Ode to Joy!

My mother's friend had one and she just raved about it, so we got one for her as a gift! Well, I loved hers so much that my husband got me one for our anniversary! Then two ladies I work with loved mine so much they each got themselves one, also! Then my aunt got one! We like you can change the music and that it has a sensor that when the room gets dark, the music will not play, so no worries about it waking you up during the night!

He has since passed, but that’s one of my husbands favorite memories, is all the music from the clocks at his grandmas!So for our 1 year wedding anniversary, he bought me this clock to celebrate our time spent with eachother!!! He will continue to do this every year!!It’s beautiful and has 4 settings for music:A: i call it the kids setting, it has like generic music.B: is like stuff you played in band…classical musicC: I really don’t know haven’t tried that settingD: is Holiday music!!I love the different music settings and I just love the sound and how beautiful it is!!

This clock is a dream come true and adds whimsical joy to our living room. The children love the music and the spinning clock face. We love the Swarovski crystal accents and the large readable clock face. The overall look is stunning and lovely. I had seen these at Epcot in Disney and longed for one, and I am excited that they are available. This would make an amazing housewarming or wedding gift. the clock has a special sensor that silences the chimes in the dark, so at night it is quiet. It has a switch to change from classical to Christmas tunes as well! The volume is adjustable.
