Poor execution
I knew what I was getting into with the cheap price. Three things I looked at:1) Ease of setting up? The protectors were indeed very hard to peel off. I ended up wearing a hole in the corner of each piece and using that as my leverage to peel up each piece. The protector is all the way to the very edge of each piece so you really can't see the edge of what you're trying to peel. Then when I clicked in each small wedge, one of the wedges was slightly too big to fit into a side piece, and after some maneuvering I rotated it to fit into the bottom.2) Quality of finished product? The whole thing does not fit together tightly. It was rather loose, even after I pressed on each connected area. After picking it up carefully and moving it, some of the areas loosened a little.3) Material? It's plastic, very staticky, and attracts dust and hair, as I found when I was trying to clean it off and wondering how it managed to gather so many particles in such a short time. It's also not completely dust-proof, as the corners are sliightly lifted and the rather loose fit, as I mentioned before. So your items inside will still be gathering dust, albeit more slowly.Edit: The material is also thinner if you buy in larger dimensions. Flimsy if you try to stack anything on it.I would not buy this product again.

At First Glance, FRUSTRATING
Never have I been so frustrated with the assembly of a product to the point that I almost returned it, but then so impressed with the final product after I gave it a second attempt!Your purchase will come with 6 acrylic sheets WRAPPED IN A MATTE PROTECTIVE FILM, an instruction pamphlet, and a little plastic bag of 3 items: a pair of small white gloves, a cleaning cloth, and a small transparent disk. You have to use the transparent disk to kinda dig at the CORNERS of the acrylic sheets (at an angle). If you aren't able to lift the film off after a few attempts in one corner, I would switch to a different corner. I would also suggest sliding the disk back and forth against a tiny section of the sides if the corners aren't working out.Once I got the hang of peeling the protective film, it was pretty easy. I had more trouble with the black acrylic sheet though because the paper kept tearing at every turn. The pieces fit together nicely, but not snugly, so I'm not sure how sturdy it is but I don't anticipate my boss trying to move it too often.

Terrible construction. Cheap and won't stay intact!
What a piece of junk. $40 for 6 sheets of cheep acrylic that dont lock into place. This is also the most ridiculous thing I have ever had to assemble. The protective film is stuck to the very edge and you have to spend so long trying to peel it off. They give you a round acrylic coin to aid in the peeling of the protective film but that is worthless and seems to do absolutely nothing. Assembly of the sides is pretty easy but there is no lock mechanism so all four sides fall apart if you move the box. Just ridiculous and very poor construction. This will be going back tomorrow.Take this off the site as it really serves no purpose unless you crazy glue the sides together for good.

Bugger to assemble but looks great
I bought this having read the reviews and gave it five stars because I got exactly what I expected. The film is a small nightmare to remove. Put on some music and just expect it to take a bit to get the pieces prepped. Also, having an extra set of gloved hands to help with the assembly is *almost* a must.I pulled all the pieces out, took off the protective coat on the base and placed it where I wanted the final display set up. I then used a combo of my nails and the provided puck to get one corner of the protective film up on each side. It's practically impossible to do with the gloves on. Once I had enough up on all the pieces, I put on the gloves, pulled all the film off and put all the pieces in place. Putting the top on was when i needed help to keep all the pieces lined up and connected properly. If you dont have another person, you could use a rubberband or string to hold the sides together while placing the top.All that said, it would be a nightmare to move once assembled because the little pieces that interlock are not terribly sturdy. So build it on the surface you intend to leave it on.The price is a quarter of what I would have paid for a custom case. So, I'm pleased with the product. And once you take the film off, the sides are crystal clear and look incredible. All in all, it's everything I expected and needed.

Definitely cost effective
I bought the 25*25*25cm (advertised as 10*10*10in) model. It was plenty adequate for what I needed to display without breaking the bank for a glass display case.It was a little difficult tearing the protective film off the sides, but using the little acrylic disk you just pick a corner and scrape at the surface until the film tears enough that you can pinch it with your finger tips and pull the film off. The disk keeps the actual acrylic panels from becoming scratched while you're doing this. The only issue I had was static cling drawing things to the acrylic once the film was removed. Get some tape or a lint roller to pick off anything that clings to it and you're good to go.I may consider using a clear caulk to better secure the sides and make it more air tight, but if you want something that looks nice and gets the job done this is definitely it.

Another beautiful display case!
The hardest part about assembling this case was getting the protective sheets off the acrylic pieces. Once that's done though, everything slots together perfectly. The acrylic is beautifully clear so having the gloves included keeps any and all handling fingerprints off everything. The additional cleaning cloth is perfect for buffing up the acrylic if needed. I'm 100% pleased with this purchase!! I'm proudly displaying a Star Wars diorama in this case. Best investment to protect vintage items from dust, without question!

Meh
I thought I could assemble the acrylic case and they would be stuck together but it's is very easy to accidently have it fall apart on you. You cannot lift it up after assembling it so best you do it at the spot that you want it in. Assembly process is pretty straight forward and the gloves they provide is eh as long you don't wear them for a long time. One downside is the protective paper film, removing it is a hassle that I sometimes accidently scratch the acrylic or the stand. It is my bad for not knowing exactly how the display case works but it still disappointing for what this is.

Junk
Incredibly frustrating. Impossible to assemble without scratching and it attracts all dust in the vicinity as soon as you remove the film. I wiped it with the included towel and it scratched the plastic... What a waste of money.

Actually a good case
I gambled and ordered this case for my model tank diorama. You have to assemble the case, but everything fits together nice and tight. Nothing was broken on arrival. The only tricky part was removing the protective film. I will probably buy this product again.
