We have used this heater since 2019 in RVs and its never disappointed us. It keeps a 21 foot rv warm enough in 40 degree weather without having to worry about carbon monoxide or sweating on inside walls like when you use the RV heater. If you need more heat I recommend 2 of these instead of one bigger one. If you are boondocking, no issues using a generator other than the same issues you'd have on shore power. Just keep track of amps used and you will sleep better not worrying about staying warm. There have been no mechanical, electronic or electrical problems since new. I also use it in my garage quite often as a spot warmer, but if I had two they would warm the garage up nicely.

We use this heater to bump up the temperature in our bedroom a few degrees in the morning. It's perfect for that. It of very high quality including the remote. A couple notes however: Nowhere in the instruction manual did I find a statement that the unit would shut off if tipped over. It did mention that it shut off if overheated. I experimented and found that tipping the unit only 10 to 15 degrees caused it to shut down. Then when it was set flat again the unit needed to be restarted. The 0.5 to 24 hour "Digital Timer" is not an ON/OFF clock as it doesn't keep track of days or time. It simply allows the user to set the number of hours before the unit goes on (when off) and set the number of hours the unit continues to run (when on and running). It only remembers 1 number. For example: If going to bed at 11 pm and getting up at 7 am (8 hours) one desires the heater to warm the room at bit by starting at 5 am, I would (when the heater is off) set the timer hours to "6" (11 pm to 5 am). The timer doesn't know the time is 11 pm, it just follows instructions to turn on the heater 6 hours later than bedtime. Similarly, when the heater is running the timer can be set to a "3" to turn off 3 hours later at 8 am. It doesn't know that the time is 8 am. Only the last number set will be remembered. The remote makes it very convenient to turn ON and OFF the heater and to make Mode and timer settings. 15 amp circuit: The low heat setting of 900 watts is a current draw of 7.5 amps and the high setting of 1500 watts draws 12.5 amp current at 120 volts AC. Keep this in mind if you're using the heater in a 15 amp circuit. In the 15 amp circuit of our dressing area which also includes our bedroom, my wife using a hair dryer causes the central circuit breaker to open "blow". The heater needs to be turned off before using the hair dryer. 20 amp circuit: Many hair dryers consume 15 amps leaving only 5 amps for the heater in a 20 amp circuit. and so a 20 amp circuit would also blow if attempting to use both a hair dryer and heater at the same time.

This is a good little heater, but read the instructions before you buy. The thermostat for the 45 degree setting works great, which is why we bought it, to keep canned food from freezing in a small storage room. But the other heat settings don't work the same way. The filter on the back is a basic charcoal piece that can be cleaned. The safety feature works - if it's moved it will turn off. Remote works well but there are controls on the unit, too.

After experimenting and learning how the thermostat works, this heater works extremely well. Great product.

This is a well constructed, engineered heater! When we got to the 40's i had to get something to take the chill off! It works so good my cats pile up on me! The fan is powerful and the oscillation does very nice. Sometimes the cats snuggle right up to the grill. They rub up to it and i worried they may knock over. Nothing has happened! Its very stable. If i tap it to knock over it turns off very fast. My heating bill dropped $40 this past month! That savings paid for the machine plus. Im going to get another one for the bathroom! Instant heat, its so fast. No standing or sitting in the cold. Im getting too old for that😁 it also has a very nice long cord that can reach your outlet. Has all kinds of options regarding temperature and timer. The remote is not a cheap piece of plastic. The buttons are well spaced so that even in the dark i can change setting during the night. I had not heard of ASTERION company, but i will buy other items from them! Manual was done very well, easy to understand functions first time reading.

I’ve had no issues with this thing for 2 years. It just keeps on trucking. Love the thermostat, it heats the room to the set temperature and shuts off. When the temperature falls 4° bell the set temperature, it turns back on. Good for single room use, bedroom, bathroom, office, etc.
