I attend a play in the park each year that does not allow chairs with any elevation at all in the lawn section. These chairs are perfect for that purpose. Much, much more comfortable then sitting on the ground with nice back support. The reason I knocked off one star is that they aren't the easiest to carry. They need to add a strap or something. As is, very awkward.

I ordered this "back jack" after sitting at a 10-day Vipassana retreat. I was struggling with managing pain while sitting for hours at a time, and this was the only thing that relieved the pain in my back and legs. I ordered one when I got home because I wanted to continue my practice. It's great for my shorter one hour sits and it is such a wonderful addition. To erect it, you have to have it flat first. Slowly bring up the back and as it clicks, you can choose the angle of what you want to sit. To unfold it, simply keep pulling it up and then you can lower it all the way down to easily store behind a desk or under a credenza.

Lightweight and convenient and comfortable and sturdy.

Go to a lot of horse shows and this makes it a whole lot nicer to sit for long periods of time

We had these in a full lounge chair style, but they took up a lot of space on our boat when not in use. So, I thought these little guys would be much better. They are easy to store but don't have a lot of seat cushion. Fine for a short sit but not several hours.
