Beautiful leather bands. They are indeed made of genuine leather but the leather comes firm and dried out. I completely understand that it rips and breaks for some people. You need to apply some leather conditioner to the bands to make last for a long time. I prefer the brand L.e.x.o.l.The bands will immediately soak it up and initially you may need to apply two thick coats but the leather will instantly get smooth, soft and plyable. My wristbands are being used daily and after months still show no signs of wear. Leather is organic and as such it needs care. Apply a little conditioner every few weeks or months, depending on how much sun exposure it gets and how often you wear it. You may also want to get a leather cleaner if you sweat a lot.Granted conditioner should probably have been applied before it's sold but at that price point, getting two geniune leather bands for $15, I really am not complaining and I expected it. I know how to care for leather and I rather wear organic materials that don't make me sweat or break out like rubber/silicone materials do in this hot and humid weather here.

The only thing I was slightly disappointed with is that there is so much pink - in the picture on Amazon, there was much more purple and green to balance the pink. That said, I'm very pleased with this wristband. (Probably not going to use the black one that came with it.) The leather is very soft, the bands are nice and long, there are a whole bunch of holes to adjust the size, and the attachments to the Fitbit are very easy to use, and fit tightly. Delivery was very quick.12/17/2019 - This is the second identical band I have ordered - my cat chewed the end off the previous floral band and a brown leather one that I also loved. Apparently leather appeals to him..... Anyway, these are lovely. This 2nd band has more purple than the first one, which I like. They have plenty of holes to adjust the band, they have a very easy and effective connecting process, and they are very reasonably priced. Delivery, even at Christmas, was very speedy. All in all, one of my all-time favorite purchases from Amazon.All in all, I'm very happy with this purchase.

I have had these bands for a long time. They work well & hold up under a variety of circumstances, rather I am exercizing, doing yard work, or doing heavy duty craft work. (Wished the screen on my FitBit was as tuff as bands are.)

It works well with the Fitbit Alta. Although it fits my small wrist, seems durable enough, and is comfortable, the color covering of the leather strip itself shows lines and uneven coverage. It's not noticeable when you wear it, but I am concerned that after a while it will easily peel off. I can't say that for certain right now since I've had these for just a day, but because of how it is placed and the cover kind of sticks out a tiny bit in some places, it seems like it could peel. However, the price for 2 of these can't be beat, and it does look good, so I guess all in all you ultimately get what you pay for.

Since my skin is extremely sensitive to the rubberized band on the fit bit, I wanted something more like leather. I also wanted a band that had some personality and fit my love of color. The band on my fit bit was fairly small and it didn't come with a larger one so I was worried that these were a similar size. I followed the information and measured my wrist and they fit me fine with room to spare. If your wrist is under 8 inches in circumference, the band will fit. This pack came with two bands, one was black and the other had beautiful flowers all over it. The flowered band was perfect for me and I've had several friends admire it. It fit my Fit Bit Alta just fine. I'm completely happy with these bands and hope you will get more with different designs so I can have several different ones. I wear my Fitbit every day so it gets a lot of use. I'm allergic to the plastic/synthetic bands, so this one is perfect!
