I discovered the wonders of gaffer tape as a parent helper in high school plays, and I will never go back! Strong yet won't leave residue on a floor or wall (or cables being tacked down for safety), can be re-laid should a cable need to be moved, and can (usually) be pulled apart if the ends of a longer piece end up sticking together ('go rogue', flopping around). Lots and lots of color options, I keep several around depending on the floor color. I would never in my wildest dreams consider using Duct-Tape on my mahogany flooring, yet won't hesitate to tack down a cord with this gaffer tape. It is now a can't-live-without household requirement.

Depending on what you need this to do, it can be a great purchase. A cat adopted us about 3 years ago. We already had a dog and I needed to keep the cat separated from the dog until they got used to each other. I gave him my office which is carpeted. We got plastic runners and cut them to cover all the carpeted areas to keep his litter out of the carpet and keep him from using his nails on my carpet. We started out with duct tape to hold the plastic runners together but over time the adhesive on the duct tape starts to slide and get gooey. A few times a year I have to empty the office and take up the plastic runners, get the gooey glue off of them, clean them, put them back down and re-tape. A few months ago, we used this gaffer tape instead. We have not had any issues with sliding or goo. The plastic runners stay in place, even the one we taped to the tile.

I read that this was THE tape for holding up breasts. I tried over and over but could NOT get this tape to shape properly. To be fair it held up my G cup size breasts VERY well- the hold is great, no denying it. However, the lack of flexibility in shaping was frustrating. I followed a few different tutorials but always ended up with sharps corners and flat sections that showed through my clothes.I'm giving it 3 stars because the hold is great, and maybe I just didn't know what I was doing, maybe it was just user error.

Do not use for tape for boobs. Total fail. Probably would work well as a light adhesive tape for taping down cords for entertainment centers etc but not for heavy traffic areas.

This is the best tape I have used in a long time. It is sturdier than the common duct tape you can buy at a hardware store. It tears easily along perpendicular lines, sticks well, and yet is easy to remove. The variety of color choices mean you can get a roll to match a desired color scheme. It is not cheap, but if used sparingly you will find it very cost effective. It is a product that you feel good using and that is worth a lot.

It tapes, what more can I say about it? Works as expected.

Used these to tape up my breasts for a backless dress. Wore it for a wedding. Got ready at noon and the tape held all day and night. Definitely works for the purpose

Looked great for maybe an hour... then it all came off and was balled up in my dress
