The blade isn't as sharp as it could be. Eat mangos a lot? go for a more expensive (presumably better) one. For occasional use, it does the job. I mark the spot, use a very sharp knife to barely cut skin, then put this back & it's fine. But I don't always have to.

Finally got the chance to use this kitchen gadget. Overall, I like it. I gave it 4 stars because it seems to leave a lot of mango on the core of smaller mangos. Otherwise it's wonderful. I cut the ends off the mango with a knife so it was more stable when I used this gadget. And then after the halves were separated from the core I used a spoon and scooped out the mango like you would an avocado. So easy.

If you enjoy Mangos, or if someone in your household does, then you need to buy this slicer and make life easier on yourself! I always hated prepping Mangos, but my Husband loves them. When I found this little gadget, I knew I had to try it, and I LOVE it!

Very small opening for seed. Was not usable. More frustrating than usable.

This product is made cheap and wasn’t sharp enough to cut through a mango. Really disappointing

I love mangos. I was was hoping for a better way to enjoy them when I bought this. Sadly, it doesn't work. I guess I'll stick with my knife.

This is the most amazing thing. Usually you loose half the mango trying to get the seed out. I love mango's and can now enjoy them more. What a great invention.
