SHARP!
I bought the knife with the round-pointed one. They are OK, but don't under small stitches. This replacement with the sharp-point is really SHARP. it goes under the very small stitches and cut it with ease. It is made of ceramic and will not rust. This is my very handy tool now. The price is high, but may last for long time. The replacement blade doesn't come with instruction. You have to visit their site.

Sharper tip than the blade that comes with the Slice seam ripper handles.
This tip, 10537, has a sharper tip than the 10536 blade that comes with the Slice handle. The original, rounded tip blade is too rounded to get under any but the largest stitches, but you would be hard pressed to find a way to draw blood or nick the fabric. The 10537 blade is sharp enough to get under most stitches, but it is sharp enough to poke yourself if you work at it. 10537 is not as sharp as the scary-sharp "surgical" seam rippers which have a razor-sharp surgical steel blade that can easily nick the fabric or cut your finger. Having ripped yards of seams with this blade, I see no sign of it getting duller; a 4-pack could be a lifetime supply. Blade fits Slice seam ripper handles and many other Slice handles, but the tang is too wide to fit the typical X-Acto handle. and does not have the keyhole slot to fit surgical handles. So if you don't have a Slice handle, you may need to get clever with a Dremel and/or epoxy to alter the handle; I haven't tried to cut the ceramic blade.

Works great but the tips break
I really like these blades. They work well but the tips are very delicate and can break off, making it harder to cut threads cleanly.

Last seam ripper I’ll ever own! Great!
Perfect for tight seams. Nice and sharp. Easy to use! I’ll never use the old standard seam ripper again.

Love how easily it cuts through my clay!

Not as sharp as steel
Unfortunately, steel blades are definitely sharper and thinner, easier to slide under stitches and use as seam rippers, than these ceramic ones,

Pointed tips work best.
Pointed tips make it easier to get under stitches.
