SMPL. Glass Screen Protector for Apple Iphone XR & Iphone 11, Tempered Glass Film, 2-Pack

i don’t ever write reviews for products, but i really like these screen protectors. i bought from this same brand for my previous iphone and was happy with them, so i looked back in my order history for them so i could buy the same brand for my new phone. the screen protector and kit is just as good, if not better than the last time i purchased from them a few years ago. the plastic applicator guide is such a smart tool to provide with the screen protectors. it makes the installatjon foolproof; it makes it soo easy to put the screen protector on your phone straight and lined up with the phone speaker at the top. it also comes with two packs of tools for prepping the screen - a wet wipe, dry wipe, microfiber cloth, and sticker for dust removal. i haven’t dropped my new phone (yet) but i did drop my old phone a few times and while the screen protector did crack, my phone did not. one note tho - this screen protector has a black outline (see pic) so if your phone isn’t black, it’s going to be visible. on the black phone you don’t see it at all.

This product was 1/4th of the cost of the one I bought when I bought my phone new. The quality is exactly the same, product was a cinch to install!

The easiest install, worth the price plus you get two. Perfect look and fit. Would get it again in a million times.

I purchased this protector as a replacement for the original expensive Apple protector on my iPhone., hoping to save some $$. I was careful to order the specific version for my iPhone Xr. I have two issues with this screen protector.The smaller issue: I applied it, in a steamy bathroom to avoid dust, painstakingly and precisely according to its instructions using its application tool. In spite of this, several (admittedly small) bubbles remained even after three days, although the instructions assured me these would resolve themselves.Much larger issue: In the top of the protector was a cutout for the iPhones's ear speaker (as there should be). But that cutout was a tiny slit approximately 2mm by 8mm that essentially prevented anything to be heard when using the phone...kind of an important function for a cell phone. Every time I used the phone I was constantly trying to increase the speaker volume and asking callers to speak louder. After days of exploring every possible reason for this, I finally had my "Duh" moment and took off the protector. You know the rest. If you have a Dremel tool and some excellent fine muscle control, I could see someone, not me, enlarging that slit. I can't speak for other buyers of this protector, but I found it unusable for my iPhone model.

This product does exactly what it’s supposed to. About a week after installing I dropped my phone. It did crack this screen but didn’t put a scratch on my phone. I bought a sturdier case for my phone and put my second screen protector on, so far it’s been great.

This screen protector it hard to install. The direction for the installation is out dated. I have an iphone xr and the directions clearly shows an iphone 8 model. The applicator has no indication of which side is top and which side is bottom. After botching the first attempt. I tried to apply the second screen protector. Still had issues with bubbles. I didn't have any issue with any other brand before. Wouldn't recommend.

Easier to install than the old school protectors, but the applicator that is included needs larger raised edges and maybe a “this side up” stamp on it. Ended up having the applicator upside down and ruined the first screen protector I tried to install. Overall it’s ok, once you figure it out. Be sure to properly clean your screen and wash your hands before you try and install. Or you'll end up with air bubbles and no chance of a clear application.

These screen protectors are beautiful. They have the nice black masking on the edge, that really blends into the iPhone and looks very seamless. The coverage on the screen is excellent, but allows just enough clearance for the case, with virtually no unprotected space. This is the best coverage by any screen protector I’ve ever used.My only issue is that I have applied two of these protectors and both got some sort of debris between the protector and the screen. I thoroughly cleaned the phone screen, and quickly removed the backing and applied the protector in both cases, and in both cases I managed to get something stuck between. Maybe it’s bad luck, but I’ve applied dozens with no issue, and I had an issue with two in a row.The phone looks beautiful in spite of this, and I only see it when the phone is off. So it’s not a deal breaker. But be extra diligent. I’ve you have a pressurized clean room that may help too.
