I bought my 9yo daughter a watercolor set for Christmas and loved the water pen brush that came in her kit so much that I purchased these for her to use in place of the traditional watercolor brushes. Listen, these water pen brushes are a GAME CHANGER for people with children and for parents who fear the mess water color painting can cause. Now no mess!! Fill the pen as indicated, get a sheet of paper towel, grab your watercolor paint kit, and BINGO! Hours of fun! I even purchased watercolor coloring books for the kids and they just grab their loaded water pen brush, and the coloring books (since the paint is on the side of the page) and they bring it with them on car rides instead of their tablets sometimes. I keep a water bottle with me for reloading their pens as needed. I mean GAME CHANGER!! The pens are great quality for the price. No leaks, good operation, brushes are nice, distribute paint well, and clean very easily. Would definitely recommend!

it was tricky at first since the reservoirs opened by turning right instead of left(lefty loosey), but they worked really well and my initial experience is good.

These brushes are a perfect additional tools for my daughter’s painting needs!Also, purchased to used small brushed one for make up correction. We put micellar water in it. Then we can use it to correct application errors when using eyeliner / mascara.

Nice water brushes, with a variety of size and shape. Great deal! I bought them for my students to use with gouache and water color. They also could be filled with alcohol or ink and work well. My students enjoyed them

Pros: The set is inexpensive and offers a good variety of brush tips for quick sketchCons: Some of the brush hairs fell out of one of the larger brushes.I didn't like the squishy feel of the brush in my hand. It is easy to squeeze out too much water. I feel like I have more control using my water brushes made of harder plastic.Overall, I would recommend this product for someone who wanted it for a travel art kit or for someone new to watercolor who wants to try water brushes for the first time.I would possibly buy this product again.

It's a bunch of water brushes. None of them leaked and all had good bristle heads so go team. I marked down on the cleaning just because, like all of these inexpensive clear nylon bristle brushes, you are never going to get them fully clean from staining watercolors or more serious inks. It doesn't affect anything but the appearance, but newer folks seem to freak out a little about it.Given the material of the well/handle, I probably wouldn't throw one of these in a bag with water in it, but have no problem keeping one filled on my desk pretty much all the time. I end up using it more than my serious brushes because when I get an idea for a quick study or doodle it is right there so it gets a lot of short bouts of use every day.
