Good
Would’ve given five if it wasn’t for the battery cover being difficult to slide off. Otherwise, great thermometer with fast reading for a moving toddler!

Works but Doesn't
I was excited to receive this -- Got it for my work to take temperatures if that was a requirement. Tried it right away on both myself and my son. Temps were all over the the place. Started at over 100 for each of us, they dropped to 99 and than 98's. I would keep it on my son's head so I had the exact spot and every time I pushed the button the temp dropped .1 degrees. I started removing it but keeping it within an inch of the spot and place on forehead push button, temps went from 97 up to 99 back to 98's nothing was constant. Well try again with more people but I am thinking it is not that realible.

Very Accurate Device and Versatile as Well
I was sceptical at first that something this reasonable could be so great. I checked it with traditiional thermometers and it is right on. It is a really nice little bonus that you can do the room temperature with it as well. I am thrilled with the product!

1 Star Garbage; 4 readings = 4 different temperatures
This thermometer is 1 Star garbage. Good luck buying one that is accurate if you don't want to spend some serious coin. For the safety of well-being of our 18 month old, we'll spend the money on an accurate thermometer, preferably American made, not Chinese. However, that alone would be a miracle.Why is this 1 Star garbage? Four different temperatures from our child's ear all within a minute. 98.2, 98.6, 99.7, 101.2.Same inaccurate results on me using the same method. Likewise with my wife.Tried new batteries. Same results.Temperature deviation this extreme is unacceptable for me to rate any higher than 1 Star garbage.

Works quite well
Very easy to use and accurate. Beats using an old thermometer of putting under the tongue. I highly recommend.
