Because of the low price point, I was aprehensive after ordering. But, this thing is great!! My V15 fits perfectly with about a 2 inch clearance above the floor. It seems very sturdy. To be safe from dogs chasing cats though, I will keep it in the laundry room. It's a pretty heavy rod iron and went together easily. All the hardware and 4 thick rubbery pads to protect your foors come with it. An allen wrench and regular wrench are included. You just need a phillips screw driver. The washers were a little tight to fit on the 2 screws that hold the wall hanging part that comes with your Vacuum. No biggie...I found plenty in my garage that worked well. It's exactly what I wanted and I am very happy with it.

Cast iron with powder coated paint. Comes in 3 pieces and is pretty simple to put together. The instructions are a little off, but it's really not that difficult to figure out. I have 2 of these; one for a dyson v8 and a dyson v12 slim. Both fit just fine. The base is solid as well. As long as you have all of the original pieces to your vaccum, you should have no issues. I am happy with this purchase.

So far I'm completely satisfied with the construction of the stand. The installation was a tiny bit confusing. I had to refer back to the instructions in the actual Amazon listing, and then realized that they included one extra fastener of every type. This is what led to the initial confusion. When looking for the three fasteners for the base, I initially tried the two that hold the charger to the stand plus the one extra. This didn't make a very secure hold at all. After removing them and switching to three of the four screws, the stand was much more secure. Everything else went in extremely well. The only problem wasn't with the stand, it was with the actual docking station from Dyson. At this point, my vacuum is hanging off of it. It seems very sturdy and secure. And unless there's some catastrophic failure in metallurgy, I see this lasting as long as the vacuum cleaner.

I had a Dyson cordless before and had I know about these stands, I might not have gotten rid of the old Dyson so quickly. I bought this when I bought the new Dyson and wow, what a difference. I put it together myself (very easy). It seems to be very sturdy as it hasn't tipped over (it is not on any carpet). It holds all the attachments and the Dyson charging station, which is a bonus for me since I didn't want to put the charging station on the wall. Very satisfied.

This is a very well made, sturdy stand. This is the second one of these stands I've bought. I bought my parents a Dyson like I have so I had to get this stand to go with it!!! It holds all the accessories and holds up very well. Would highly recommend!!! :)

I love this stand! Bought it for my Dyson V8 Animal model which is several years old. It arrived with all of the parts (including some extra replacement screws), and was easy to assemble with the tools provided. I ordered the version with wheels for the bottom of the stand, but they also gave me the alternative stationary rubber feet. After you install the Dyson docking station to the top, the charge cord for the Dyson can be threaded through the back and into the docking station, so it can be charged while mounted on the stand. The two little metal baskets attached to the back are handy for extra attachments. The whole unit with the Dyson and its attachments mounted is very compact and easy to roll around. It is heavy enough to be stable while standing or being moved. The only improvement would be to add a handle to grab when rolling it around.

I purchased this for my Dyson V12 Slim Detect, because I did not want to use the Dyson wall-mount contraption. (Note: you will need the Dyson wall contraption in order to assemble and use this stand!). Assembly was simple, but not easy. This was partially because I didn't have a large enough (in length) surface for the assembly, and I can't get on the floor. But also it was kind of awkward to hold the sections together until enough screws were tightened to hold itself together (unless you have a helper). Once assembled properly, it is quite wobbly, and no amount of screw tightening helps. But it's fairly easy and handy to use both as a stand and a charging base. As a stand for the V12, it really needs one more cross bar at the bottom so the second vacuum head has something to lean against when not in use (I tried to show this in a photo). I'm glad I have a perfect spot in the laundry room for the stand and Dyson, because it is all quite unsightly and large. Also, I think this item is a bit pricey for what it actually is; a few metal pieces and some screws.

We have had a dyson v8 animal for years now and love it. The only problem is I did not want to mount the bracket that comes with it to the wall. Just don’t see putting holes in the wall for a vacuum that won’t last forever and having to fill holes later. So over the years and thru 2 houses so far our vacuum has been set in a corner propped up or set against a piece of furniture here or there but never in a good spot or on a proper mount or stand. Decided to buy this Finally and finally we have a home for our dyson. And the best part is if we decide to move to another location we just pick up the stand and move it. Another great part is while it is in the stand and plugged in it is fully charged and ready to go whenever we need it. Great buy! Highly, highly recommend!
