High expectations, can't get a useable sound.
I have to admit, I bought this thing mostly since I'd heard the Edge used it and I was looking for some new tones. $250 is a lot to spend on a pedal. But I just can't get anything useable. It seems some days it works, and other days it will just make colossal mess of noises. I actually tried using different power inputs and that seemed to improve things a bit, for a while. Then I thought perhaps I got a bad unit and tried to reach out to Death By Audio - crickets.Disappointed, not buying more from them. I seldom write bad reviews, especially for musical gear (been playing for 30 years), but this pedal is not worth the money. Be careful

One of the best fuzz pedals Ive ever used. Nice use of bias and gate I’m not sure what these other guys are talking aboutTotal fry town

Pedal does not meet expectations
This was the most frustrating purchase I've ever made after the quintessence from TC electronics. Wow what a deception.... The density knob doesn't work. Fuzz knob does work unless is at 5 o clock when it faces out into a high frequency sound. the level is not set accordingly. the bias only work passed 3 pm. the osc switch is a complete mess, it doesn't eve oscillate between frequencies as it is intended to be. I'm very frustrated with Chicago music exchange and with death by audio.
