really saves handles. I had a bad habit of hitting handles and breaking them when splitting wood. no more with these. I go thru one of these a winter. if you hit them enough the rubber will rip but it takes a lot of hits. when mine starts to rip I replace it. handle on my axe is 4 or 5 yrs old now and I used to go thru a couple a year at best

These work perfect and I'm so happy I was able to get them. Not difficult to put on, and not coming off anytime soon!

A little tough to get over the knob on the axe handle. Okay otherwise.

It's name says it all. It saves the wood handle from splintering and breaking when the firewood splits weird or you over strike.

I have not used this one yet, but have used one like it for years and it has saved my maul handle over and over.

Wasn’t the right fit for my maul handle but after heating it up and some hard word made it work. Other than that it works as expected.

These things save your handles, pure and simple. Order the right size.
