TOPFUND Red C Note Crystal Singing Bowl Root Chakra 10 inch with Heavy Duty Carrying Case and Suede Striker Rubber Mallets

I thought that I would prefer these over a standard mallet but, unfortunately they're not really suited for my application. My goal was to eliminate the scratchy sound of the frosted bowls as much as possible. These seem to enhance it quite a bit. The action is VERY fast though. As soon as they're brought to the bowl, we're making sound. They're just creating too much scratchy sounds for my liking. I feel like they would be PERFECT for unfrosted bowls though, there is just something about them that feels so good in the hand. Maybe after some more use I will get more proficient with them, but as it stands right now I just don't feel like they are suited for frosted bowls.

This beautiful singing bowl came nicely packaged. It comes with its own caring case and has Styrofoam inside case to protect the bowl. This bowl made a beautiful sound when played I would highly recommend!

I love the sound quality it produces. Does not drag as much. However, I do wish it was a bit longer in the handle to hold. overall, I’m pleased.

This singing bowl just arrived yesterday. I have several other but the experience of something flaking off of it as I play it is disturbing. I’d like to know what material is coming off, you can see the specks on the table in the photo, I hesitate to use it. I have even used other mallets to make sure it wasn’t the mallet that shipped with it, but it still flakes. I’m looking for advice from topfund!
