Wow. Didn't know about these until recently when my wifi was too slow upstairs in the house. Googled it and found this thing. In short, I tested the wifi about 10 times in the same spot. Went from around 10-15mbps download speeds to now (with the range extender installed) I'm up to 90mbps. Works awesome! (Disclaimer: My internet service supplies up to 100mbps so if you don't have that DL speed with your internet service you obviously won't get that kind of speed)

Received my extender today and couldn't be happier.Our WiFi was weak at the far end of the house where we had an addition put on. It was frustrating at times.Unpacked this gadget, plug it in and had it set up in absolutely no time flat, moved it to the intended outlet, allowed it to power up and then connected. The signal is now full all through the addition.I recommend this product to anyone for it's ease of set up and wonderful performance.Side note:I chose this particular item based on the other customer reviews.

We're in a 3600 sq.ft. mid-century, well-built home with spotty Wi-Fi coverage. Even with a previous extender in place, my Wi-Fi would drop upstairs several times a day. After I got this one up & running, it's worked like a charm!I do want to say I had a bit of trouble with the installation but I called seller for help & they were EXCELLENT. They didn't let me off the phone until everything was operable.Great price...great product!

My house is 100 years old, made of stucco and lath. The walls are 10 to 12 inches thick. If I'm on the second floor anywhere near a wall, I simply do not receive wi-Fi signals. Set up was very simple and when I plugged this bad boy in I was relieved to see that I was one bar from full strength; A drastic improvement in signal strength. I used PayPal and it was delivered to me in three days. I am a skeptic so I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop but so far it greatly exceeds my expectations. I'll let you know if something goes wrong – stay tuned.

Well, read all the reviews and decided to buy this.... I am very happy. I follow the setup directions by linking to their website. Everything happened and worked as described with no problems getting this going. I now have coverage in the entire house. Great product for a little price.PS: some reviews were correct, when you power this up, it does take a few minutes for the power light to go blue, so be patient.

pretty easy setup and gave great signal throughout my house. Prior to this extender, I couldn't get Wi-Fi to come to my bedroom at all and now I have full strength. Definitely worth it! Our Internet was struggling outside and I also needed to make our AV receiver connect to our wifi network. This killed two birds with one stone. Very pretty easy setup and works great. Do realize this cuts wifi speeds in half since it has to switch between send/receive on the same radio. For basic streaming and Internet use its fine though.

My daughter's room (upstairs) is the furthest spot from out router (downstairs) and she always receives a weak signal. Before installing the extender, I measured the signal strength in my daughter's room (5.2 mb/sec). I installed the extender in our upstairs hallway and then measured again. The signal from the extender into my daughter's room is now 35.3 mb/sec. Installation was very simple per the instructions. Very pleased with the results, I really was not expecting this size of an increase.
