Much safer than using a ladder to get the line in the tree. Works well. Line could be better quality ( more flexible). Recommend

I used this to install a wire antenna for an HF rig in my trees. It worked perfectly to allow me to reach the high branches from the ground by tossing the line over a high limb and pulling up the wire over and through the tree branches. I will definitely use it again for SOTA/POTA activations where temporary antenna installations are necessary.

Only complaint is that the line comes so that it has a somewhat permanent bend every foot. If it was spooled it wouldn't have that problem.

Although the line is a bit different from other, more expensive lines, I find it works well enough to keep with my gear.I did buy it as a backup, and to see if this brand was worth the money.I can say that I feel it is.The bag has held up well, too. The material, weight, and shape help the bag do it's job flying up and over branches and coming back down so I can run my rope up.

dont buy this with the intention of using the line for anything other than tarp tie down line.

This can hang on the belt, or sit in the basket of your atv. Compact, bright colored so not easy to misplace. Very handy to have when you are needing to get a rope around a tree branch up high for pulling a tree. Use gloves when holding the rope and pulling since it is a plastic type rope. We do lots of tree work and really use this often.

Nice low weight throw bag, plus plenty of slickline for getting the line over a tree branch or other structure.

Allowing this rope to be packaged and sent out shows the complete disregard for your safety and quality control processes. You have enough to focus on working in a dangerous situation, having good ropes being so vital. I’ve purchased Forester products and never been let down with quality until yesterday. Completely disappointed in this product. The fraying effects your SAFETY!!!!, throwing!!!! and longevity!!!! Purchase from a more reliable company if this concerns you and your SAFETY.

I received the rope and the bag, but the weighted end did not arrive with the order. This is not the item I was promised.

The throwing bag itself is nice quality, which was my main interest.The line was damaged in sections and improperly folded. It was kinked and knotted badly first time out, and took about 20 minutes to unravel and repack. The carrrying case has no drawstring; it's just an open top, and everything will fall out given the chance, meaning you can't safely wear it on your belt.In all honesty, what's included couldn't have cost more than a couple dollars in material.. probably $10 with labour. I understand it's a nieche item, but still... price is kind of ridiculous.

Good product. My only complaint is rope quality. It kinks and can't be stored easily in bag, so I have bought proper arborist 2mm throwing line rope. I like the throwing weight and bag. Just let down by poor rope quality.

Did not get throw bag!

The rope is too big for the storage bag. I was going to return but was shocked that the cost to return product is $13.00. More than 30% of product cost! Guess I’ll have to buy a decent rope elsewhere.
