Yes, propane heater works too
Needed a replacement ignitor for a ProComm / Feature Comforts propane ventless heater model MD300TBE (in owners manual also listed for MD100TBE and MD200TBE). Original ignitor part model number is DHLG-12 dated 2010, 1.5V DC. Yes, got money's worth out of this original part, over twelve years strong. Clicker stopped clicking from previous attempts to clean battery corrosion off. Looked up part at ProComm heater site and the current ignitor part number is PIMSC1-01 but out of stock. Took a chance on this one and it fits. Important to know is the hole to accept the ignitor on the heater has to be approximately 3/4 of an inch across to fit ignitor into hole. If hole is smaller, then may need to file down edge on heater a little to fit. This fit our propane heater fine with no adjustment. If you open the heater and the ignitor looks similar this should work.We bought the one plug model. The ignitor block has a flat square plug end embedded in the bottom corner. The thin wire on the heater is round looking, but it still fits on a blade end. The ignitor plug blade must be aligned with the seam in the wire plug. The existing wire on the unit looks like a round end but fits on a flat square blade. Did not think it would fit, but looked at original part blade and it is the same as new part, flat blade. Blade aligns with seam then slips on. Round wire end to square, works. For heater install. Took the screws off face of heater, unscrewed the old ignitor part, pulled off wire, positioned the new ignitor in heater hole, spun on the included plastic nut, dropped in a AAA battery, put the rubber cap on it and now clicks away like normal. This was a good price and with prime was delivered next day. Now if it lasts as long as the original then great. Just remember to take out the batteries when not in use for the season or occasionally check for leaky batteries. Hope those with a propane heater find this helpful since this is advertised mostly for bbq grills. It just basically clicks to make a spark to ignite the pilot light.

Nice replacement works better than the original.
My old "starter" just wouldn't start anymore. Installed this one (had to enlarge the hole it mounted in but that was easy) and my grill works better than ever. THANKS.

Works well, but NOT exact fit
I have the 2-burner Charbroil grill (Model #463630021) and bought this to replace the starter that died. While it DOES work, it is slightly bigger than the original and will not fit in the metal casing the original sits in. So I installed it quickly/easily without the casing and *works totally fine* -- just not an exact fit.

Grill works again
So my dog have bit off the button part of this which wouldn't allow me to create or generate the spark in there once I turned on the gas. So I had to get an extension lighter which is a pain in the butt, but overall it was necessary. I went to home Depot to see if I can buy something like this but they didn't have anything remotely close. You kind of have to work around it. Do your own little thing, but you're only able to like one grill at a time. So once I looked at Amazon I noticed that this device was available. It does come with three four even five or six prongs depending on your grill, at the time I did not know my girl had four because it has a side burner on the side which I don't use that much unless I'm doing like a ribeye steak. So I order the wrong one for my grill but it was okay because I didn't need or used the side grill. Very easy to hook up. You go ahead and take off the nut. Pull it from the back, disconnect all the cables and then connect them into your new setting. The only thing that I would say is make sure you remember where all the cables go. If you connect one of the cables that you're not going to be using then you're going to find yourself. One of the grills is not going to be working because of compatibility. So make sure you are aware of where each strand of electricity cable goes to on the grill. That way you turn on the one you want but that's only because I bought the one that wasn't for my grill. I was missing one. Therefore, I made the mistake to connecting one in the wrong place. I had to follow the line to see which was the one I needed. If you buy the right prong with the right number for your grill then you won't have this problem. Just connect all of them and it should work. I like the design, very simple plug and play and push it back into through its hole. Connect bolt with the button. Make sure you put the battery in there as well and everything works as new. I need to order a new one now this time to make sure that I get my five prongs. That way all my igniters work at the same time. Depending on how many igniters you need, the item itself is bigger or smaller, but because it's all sitting behind the grill face, you don't see it anyways. And you should have the amount of space you need for the burners that you have. Anyways. As far as look, I did go with the simpler look but I've noticed that they have a more modern look with the stainless steel. So depending on your knobs on your grill and if you want to match that same look, you can always upgrade to the better looking knobs but that's optional depending on what it is that you know you want to do. As far as working it shouldn't change anything. It is all she's visually aesthetically appealing.

Yes! It actually fit the case of the original product so my grill is back! Get that spark going again and replace your old one. Fairly easy to replace.
