These are so much better than starter gel! Had these before but couldn’t find them again until now!

These worked very well for starting my pellet stove. They would work better if they were made from a more denser pellet -- the pellets I buy have the lowest are very low ash content and pretty hard wood, and soaking them in DNA gives me a better starter pellet. CAUTION: If you're not familiar with denatured alcohol, you need to know -- do NOT breath the fumes, DO cover the container immediately after you get the pellets out and close it tightly. The alcohol evaporates very quickly, and breathing fumes is definitely not good for your body. I use DNA in woodworking frequently, so am familiar with it's usefulness and it's dangers.

I camp a lot in the spring and summer and use these pellets in my Biolite stove. They burn hot and a long time. They light easy; just make sure you close the lid.

What I like about them, they worked by just following simple instructions.

First time user. Using them to ignite my pellets in the stove. Igniter is bad on the stove. Only used 2 teaspoons and my fire was started. Will definitely purchase again!!!

Worked great a start up for my pellet grill after my lunch hinterland died.
