Jacob Bromwell Original St. Joseph Flat Shredders, Set of 2

What can I say? It cuts the cheese. It's pretty much self explanatory. Step 1 - Hold the cheese grater in one hand. Step 2 - Hold the cheese in the other hand. Step 3 - Rub the two together. Results = You've cut the cheese. Problem solved. I've had worse experiences.

This grater is sharp and grates well. The only flaw is that the coarse grating surface faces inward from the handle at one end and is difficult to use as your hand is too close. If the grating surface was rotated 180 degrees it would be easier to use.

I was enthusiastic about these shredders which were advertised as being so well made that I could proudly pass them down to my children. I don't think so. Mine is showing rust spots after being washed once. It looks ugly. My husband took one look at it and said, "I'll just use the old one instead. Throw this one away." I did. Don't waste your money on this.

The price is cheaper, but they are rusty! And they are hard to hold. Not very pleasant with this .

Not quite what I was trying to replace but works well.

My son, who recently moved into his own apartment, asked for a shredder/grater for Christmas, and I was absolutely thrilled that I was able to find an affordable product made in the USA.
