Roux Rejuvenating Porosity Control Corrector and Conditioner Treatment Unisex 10.01 oz

Awesome to use after having a perm. Hair doesn’t tangle as much.

I worked at a beauty product store in 1990 to 1993, I sold so much of this product that I decided to give it a try! It’s great to use for a filler while coloring your hair! You comb it through then apply your color! Then my family & I moved to another state & there are dozens of beauty supply shops here that should have had this conditioner & shampoo but for some reason they didn’t have it or did not know what it was! It actually took me from 1998 to 2023 to find this on Amazon! Thank you Amazon! This stuff is the best conditioner I have ever used! I went through dozens of conditioners trying to get a conditioner like Porosity! No luck! Now that I know where I can get it, I’ll buy it often! I have colored hair & very long hair! Since I couldn’t find this product I tried so many that just would not get tangles out of my hair! You have no idea how bad my tangles were! I found Porosity on Amazon & bought it right away! It’s not the same consistency at all! It’s watery! It use to be nice & creamy, it also use to be a pretty gray/blue metallic color & it smelled really nice! Well! I don’t care that it’s all of what I printed! I love this stuff! It’s perfect for me & I'm so very, very, very happy that I finally found this again! It has always been amazing at how it gets out tangles with wet hair! I would say I get 99% of the tangles in about 5 to 6 minutes! I use a nickel size amount & it works perfectly as it always has! I did love the creamy consistency but the new is just fine with me!!! Less is best with this product! If you put more than a really small amount (nickel size ) or a bit more if you have really long or very thick hair, if you put more in your hair thinking it will make things better…your going to have a greasy mess! Use sparingly & you will love this stuff too!!Now I’m going to buy more of this conditioner & shampoo! This time I’m not taking any chances…I’m going to buy several bottles at a time so that I never run out! AND I’m well over 50 years old & I’ve been using for many years! Age has nothing at all as to use I h it!!

I have 3c 4aish mixed race hair that has always been puffy and subjected to the humidity outside. I couldn’t hold curls a full day even when straightened. If it didn’t drown it in oils or other moisture just about daily… I’d be in trouble and would need to cut the crunchy ends often. This conditioner together with the shampoo has changed my hairs’ dna! It’s still thick but manageable. It holds its style. And my ends stay straight and moisturized. WTH? I may be able to grow my hair long.I just found this product this year! Where have you been all my life of Jew fro? Amazing results. It’s pricey but I’ve paid more for projects that did not work like this! I will continue to buy it as long as Amazon keeps it in stock!

I used this years ago to help my highly porous hair smooth down. This strange sensation was on the last 2 inches of my hair which gave it the dry, Velcro effect. ( If I straightened and curled my hair it would frizz right back up and tangle…in a snap) My hair is highly textured, natural, and about 3C. It took up to a couple of months for it to straighten out.Like another reviewer, glycerine is NOT my friend. I will try this again because I am in the same predicament I was a few years ago.I stopped using glycerine products and I am using Ayurvedic products such as hibiscus and fenugreek powders. I create a paste and apply from roots to ends….I coat my ends thoroughly and sit under a heat cap for one 1/2 hours. ( I don’t use henna because I like my gray hair.)When I rinse the paste out, my hair is very soft, detangle, and the cuticles smooth. I do this once a week to help fix the ends.Now I do notice Roux Porosity Control has glycerine….but I also rinse that out and Deep Condition with a hair masque for 20 minutes…rinse out and use Giovanni Direct Leave in which doesn’t contain glycerine. The point is to moisturize.

I wish you were not discontinuing this product.

This product here is the bomb if you have not bought it you need to do so the price goes up and down sometimes but when you do find it on sale, get it I do know that Sally’s usually. For about a dollar or two less than it is on Amazon get this product it breaks down Like you have a perm it is so good. It works so well on my hair.

I read about this online when looking at hair color and toner. It works well and made my hair color "stick" better. Very thin solution, so when using, be careful not to pour out too quickly! You don't need to use much, but you DO need to saturate thoroughly.... I kept on longer than suggested; about 10 minutes as I felt the difference when I washed it out. A little pricey, but I do think it's worth it!

Alguien me puede decir si este producto es bueno solo para darle brillo y fortaleza al cabello pero sin alisado? Tengo el pelo poroso, grueso y quebrado de tanto tinte y no retiene humedad ni siquiera retiene bien el tinte por la misma porosidad.
