Beast, but it doesn’t last long.
Have Never used a gas backpack w/ the power this thing has. Red max or echo doesn’t make a model this powerful. That said it runs on a battery so it’s got a short life -25 minutes is as long as it will run at full power. Thats not bad for a battery powered blower. A single 9ah battery is upwards of $150 and I wouldn’t use the 6ah on this unit, as it doesn’t last long enough imo. Another issue w/ battery blowers is they consume the lifespan of a battery faster than any other cordless tool. This applies to most battery blowers but dewalt flexvolt batteries are some of the most expensive batteries on any platform and I would say they don’t fair better. It comes w/ a 9ah flexvolt battery but no fast charger. I don’t know why it wasn’t included? Battery charger in my box doesn’t support battery it came w/. The company included a 115, which is a 20 volt charger. Good charger but wrong platform . It’s kinda heavy but manageable with one hand but they included in design a rear handle so that you can use both hands, which is useful at times. They made improvements to the intake- it being right under the trigger which happens to be the safest And place for it. This way it doesn’t matter whether you are right or left handed, as it won’t pull your pants in. So many hand held blowers have this issue. The 20 volt max had this design flaw and even though 9% of the population is lefty. Dewalt put intake on the left so when holding in your right hand it always got stuck On clothing the moment you stopped holding it away from yourself, which is unnatural. At least that unit was lightweight and fairly inexpensive. This unit is absolutely worth the investment if you have quick cleanups. I use it to clean up job sites, the customers driveway or deck as an added touch, and in my shop 4 sawdust & things like that. I can do a small yard of leaves b4 battery goes but I have like 6 of these batteries. If not a contractor something to consider but for power which is most important imo, and convenience this is best battery powered blower on the market. Don’t waste time debating between other dewalt models, they don’t compare! The original flexvolt, 20v max, and 20v XR aren’t comparable. I never used the 40v but the battery is useless otherwise. At least DeWALT can now say Milwaukee doesn’t have the best blower on the market.

Super powerful
This thing really blows! It’s very powerful! It does use up a battery pretty quick if you don’t have a higher amp hour battery but with a 9ah it does all I need!

Yes it's loud, but it works!
Prior to purchasing, I read some reviews complaining about the noise of this unit and battery life. It is definitely very loud, but putting on a pair of ear muffs (that should be worn when doing yardwork anyway) is a minor inconvenience for a tool that really works. For a battery powered blower, this model is very powerful and easy to handle. I will gladly accept some noise vs a weak, quiet unit.I recommend the combo with the 9AH battery and charger even if you already have batteries and charger. If you compare the prices you are getting the battery and charger practically for free and you can never have enough batteries. This unit is best for mostly light duty, blowing decks, driveways, clippings, etc. If you are expecting a battery blower to be practical for fall leaves you will always be disappointed. Fortunately I live in a state that has not banned gas powered blowers so my gas backpack model will still be used for the big jobs, but this unit is perfect for when I don't want to fire up my backpack blower.

This thing literally blows
Plenty of blowing power I like that you can control the speed unlike my previous electric blower. The battery life is decent but it is a bit on the heavier side so your arms might get tired

Works great!
I bought an extra battery just in case!

60 V leaf blower is awesome!
The battery on my last leaf blower died after a few years. Shockingly it costs more to replace a battery than it would be just to buy all new batteries. But I have a lot of dewalt brand tools and I love that we can use them interchangeably. This is really light weight and easy to use. It also has a powerful blower which is nice to get larger leaves or wet leaves off the ground. The battery lasts a long time and they're easy to charge. I love all Dewalt products and this one is just as good.

Awesome!
Awesome! I think this thing can blow paint off walls. Well, maybe not but it sure does take care of debris on my patio and leaves in my yard. Highly recommend but it is quite loud.

Cannot fix most common issue... $300 paperweight
I was excited to get this leaf blower after doing my research... keeping in mind that I'm a Dewalt fan boy! I disagree with those that say that this leaf blower is underpowered, or that the 60V battery doesn't last very long. I found it to be very powerful and the battery lasted long enough for me to do clean up jobs here and there... I wasn't using it like a gardener around the house, however. Here's is my major issue with this tool... it is turned into a very expensive paperweight if anything gets sucked into the impeller. A twig, rock, string... which is what happened to me... is the end of this tool. Everything is accessible and replaceable, except for the motor and impeller body... where the damage is most likely to occur. I have a gas powered blower... and the impeller is replaceable, and accessible. This is such a huge design flaw with this tool that I absolutely cannot recommend it. I would look at other brands like Milwaukee and others... even if you already have a Dewalt 60V battery due to how likely this type of damage is likely to be encountered at some point using this tool.
