Good fitment
Good quality thermostat that’s easy to install if you know what you’re doing. The fitment is the same as the OEM part. I hope it’ll last a long time

Needs temperature adjustment after intallation.
Needs temperature adjustment after installation. Small spline set screw on top of unit adjusts temperature. Clock Wise increases Temperature. 1/8 turn = 90 Deg. F.

Worked like it should.
This fixed our 20 yr old oven. Works like it's new again. Thermostate is tight, good quality.

Having mixed results with it holding temperatures. Hopefully it lasts a long time?
I have a Taylor thermometer and sometimes the temp appears to be holding true and then other times it shows -25 to -50 degrees below where the temp is set at. I used this thermometer in my previous electric oven to see if the thermostat ran true, so I dont think the thermometer is wrong. The range of motion before the thermostat clicks on and off seems to be a little wide and thus I have to set the temp knob a little on the higher side.Costs 75% less than OEM. I bought a non-digital oven used so I would not have to replace $200 control boards but GE seems to want to price gouge this part. I personally do not care for GE products and their build quality (they are now made by Haier Taiwan). But, size and cost constraints railroaded me into this used oven.I only had to take the 12 Torx (T15) screws out of the top, use putty knife to lift top off, then the 2 screws for the Thermostat, fished the line through and replaced everything. No pulling the panel off or pulling the oven away from the wall.I know it's not a perfect world with perfect parts for less, and I will just have to get used to looking at my own thermometer for temp control.

Oven Parts
The part only came with one flange instead of two for right or left install which made it somewhat difficult to figure out how to jury rig it without having to send it back and go through that hassle but other than that the part worked just fine. You might as well purchase an oven igniter too as they go out at about the same time. Also make sure to remove the oven bottom plate for easier install.

Thermometer for GE JGBS23WEL3WW
Exactly as advertised. Removed old one and installed new one in less than an hour. Fixed my problem of oven JGBS23WEL3WW continuing to heat with oven knob turned to OFF position. Great value.
