Fit perfect on my Audio Technica AT-LP120XBT. Easy snap in and out and great sound. If you want to play 78's, you will be amazed at the difference in sound using this stylus as opposed to other 78 players or turntables.

Now I've got a high-end turntable that doesn't play 78 speed. So, why would I buy something like this? Well to transfer those 78 obviously. I don't need to play them at the right speed to get them transferred I can fix that in the computer. And when I do, the sound is amazing. This stylus track 78s beautifully and if you've never heard of 78 played with the proper stylus, you haven't lived. Nothing sounds like it. Nothing.Thank you Audio Technica for making this available. This is five stars because it snaps right onto my dual magnet cartridge when I'm not using my conical or elliptical stylus is on it. Being able to switch them out it's so awesome.You've always been an incredible company and I'm grateful that even the switch to having to use Chinese manufacturing hasn't ruined what you're trying to do to bring this type of experience to the masses. At an affordable price, I might add.Seriously, thank you. Five stars because they don't let me give you six.

Sound is distorted and barely audible. Do not buy, unusable.

I only wanted to purchase the 78 rpm stylus. However the whole cartridge comes with this. The stylus is not available alone.

Bought this after learning that I should be playing my shellac records with a thicker stylus because of their wider grooves. The result was noticeably better sound quality (less tinny), even to my ears as someone who rolls his eyes at "audiophile" reviews of sound hardware. Looking forward to playing through my collection to hear the music more faithfully for the first time.

Vor etlichen Jahren schenkte mir meine Oma die Schellack-Plattensammlung ihrer längst verstorbenen Mutter. Ich war natürlich mächtig stolz auf diesen Schatz, hatte allerdings nie die Gelegenheit, die Platten in ihrer ursprünglichen Lautstärke und Klangtreue zu hören. Anfangs lag es lediglich an meiner Unwissenheit: Obwohl ich einen (DJ-)Plattenspieler besaß, wusste ich nicht, dass man für das Abspielen einer 78 RPM Schallplatte eine andere (größere) Nadel benötigt. Logischerweise war ich damals vom Klang ziemlich enttäuscht, und schenkte den Platten somit keinerlei Beachtung mehr.Inzwischen hat sich natürlich einiges getan; Ich besitze (wieder) den gleichen Plattenspieler, habe mir jedoch zusätzlich enormes Fachwissen angeeignet und wusste nun, dass ich für das Abspielen meiner Schellacks eine andere Nadel benötige. Das Audio Technica VM95 Tonabnehmersystem schien mir perfekt für mein Vorhaben: Ich kaufte mir das System mitsamt der grünen 95E Nadel, sowie die 95SP gleichzeitig als Zubehör dazu.Als die Nadel heute ankam, musste ich nichts weiter tun, als die grüne Nadel vorsichtig aus dem Schacht zu entfernen, und die graue Nadel aufzusetzen. Nun war es mir endlich, nach all den Jahren, möglich die Schellackplatten meiner Uroma in ihrem vollen, klanglichen Spektrum zu hören. Ein echter Genuss, und eine sehr interessante Zeitreise - nicht zuletzt wegen der ausgezeichneten Wiedergabeeigenschaften der VM95SP Nadel!Ich kann sowohl das Tonabnehmersystem VM95 insgesamt, als auch im Speziellen die 95SP Nadel uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. Eine wirklich praktische, allumfassende Komplettlösung für den preisbewussten Schallplattensammler!!
