Well made product at a super price
Excellent value This knife strop is well made. The wood is flat,and the two leathers are applied ,and aligned just right. The zinc oxide stick was softer than I am used to....which is a good thing making it easier to load the strop.The polishing compound worked really good and brought my knife to a razor sharp edge.Having a strop to maintain your knives keeps them sharp,so you don't loose the steel on your blades from sharpening. There is a video availble to train the beginning knife stropper. Just scan the symbol on instruction booklet and it takes you to their YouTube v channel

Worth the Money
Nice strop. You can see and feel the craftsmanship in this product. Nice thick ash wood paddle as well. At this price point, you can buy a couple and load up different polishing compounds on each one. I have this in my sharpening travel bag with all my other sharpening tools. This allows for portability to sharpen family members knives. I thought about purchasing the larger paddle version, but in the end decided to get this one. I prefer the X method when I strop, so this one is best for me. The included polishing compound is not bad at all. All in all this made in Europe product is a great value and works well.

Not bad
I use it all the time. The only issue is the felt side is starting to delaminate from the paddle. Otherwise, solid purchase

WOULD PURCHASE AGAIN!!
Works just as we had hoped. It was a birthday gift for our son who received a beautiful damascus knife as a birthday gift from somebody else. Would purchase again if there is ever another reason to give as a gift.

it works but no instructions
If only they would put instructions in the box with the strobe so you know what side does what, it would be great, I'm glad that I know how to sharpen and use one of these. you got to get better at putting instructions with these things so people that are just getting started using these know what side to use.
