Quick Clean Cat Litter Box, White

My son really likes it

We recently moved to a small apartment so we needed a new litter box for our cats. Litter spinner looked like the ideal solution for a compact solution with the promise of less mess and quicker clean up. After eighteen days of using this product I'm calling it a failed experiment and a costly one at that!Multiple times a day I have to clean up pee off the floor and the occasional poop. With a toddler and a newborn in the house it is not an ideal situation.Things that doesn't work or is flawed about the product:• Too small for cats to turn around• Cat litter fill line is difficult to see inside while filling• Even when filled to the fill line litter will still come shooting out the opening when it gets to the collection bucket• Collection bucket does not get all the soiled litter• Soiled litter gets stuck to the inside of the litter box and is difficult to clean despite the included tool• Not enough room for the cats to cover their poop in the box so they then decide to pee outside the box• Medium/Large sized cats refuse to enter it despite having used covered boxes in the past• Requires almost getting on the floor or picking up entire thing to clean out the inside of the boxHere are the things we've tried to no avail:• Tried using cat attract litter, our regular litter, and a mixture of the two• Heavily cleaned the floor following every time they pee on the floor• Using a special cleaning enzyme to kill the scent of the pee and poop on the floor and other affected surfaces• Hell we've even tried spraying cat nip in the box to see if they'd go insideMaybe this is good for a single cat home with a small to medium cat, but this is not a good solution with a multi-cat household even when you rotate it after every use and dump.Switching to a XL stainless steel pan to see how that works.

The idea of a stationary base to roll the litter through the strainer to catch the clumping pee and poo is great. However it falls short with the catcher. When you remove the bin to empty it, litter falls out. Also, I highly recommend tapping the unit as you roll it to loosen the clumps.If the catcher or strainer had a solid bottom it would be much better. I had to cut card board and insert it in to the strainer to try to avoid the mess.

Only reason its not 5 stars, is that $100+ for a litterbox is kinda pricey, even for one as cool as this. (and that the omega paw is only $40 for similar functionality). That said, it works great. no mess, no fuss, no dust, etc.... Great box.also, very tempting to spin while your cat is in it.... but since i know my cats are capable of murder, i haven't.

I love this. They should definitely make more of these! Different colors and everything. It so simple to clean the poop and pea out ! Of course while using clumping litter . I highly recommend this. It has made my life 85% much easier with my cat. And she loves it too !

When I first saw this cat litter box I thought, it sounds wonderful and just what I was looking for. I immediately set it up and put Crystal kitty in it. The cat seemed to enjoy going inside and doing his business. The next morning I started to clean out the box. I turned the drum as instructed and felt some restraint. Obviously, the blue crystal litter was too large for the drum when it turned. Upon reading the instructions again, I see it suggested a smaller size litter in order for the drum to turn properly and dump in the basket. I didn't care for the clay litter at all and when wet, it made tracks. When removing the basket to empty the poops, the litter would fall out and scatter everywhere outside the box, all over the mat and the floor. The cat tracked it everywhere. Another problem was when the cat poops, the poops pile up into a large mound, like elephant dung and stick to the plastic. When turning the drum, it would not fall off. I then needed to scrape it off the bottom with a litter shovel and plastic scrapper which comes with. The odor is another problem. I had to hand scoop and scrape the poop by hand because the drum was not depositing everything.I finally gave up!! Went through this for 2 months and 40 pounds of un needed cat littler.I decided to go back to an old fashioned litter box with Crystal blue cat litter and scoop into a Genie disposal.Works perfect. It was also a pain to empty the dirty litter through the small hole in the bottom. Also had to hose it out and dry it. Wasn't worth the work.I am sorry to the owner for this review, he did have a good idea, but it needs some kinks worked out.I was wondering why my 8 month old kitty had some huge poops. I think the urine seems to puddle in the same place and making it a huge wet mound.

Even though you have to spin it twice or sometimes three times because some litter sticks to the sides and floor - it's so much easier than my regular litterbox. I replaced one large box, with two of litter spinners, and I am so happy. They take up very little space, and my cats got into them right away. Only one accident with poop outside the box, but that was on day one, while they were learning I guess. Then they figured it out :) I have 4 cats, 2 boxes. The only thing is that, there is some litter tha falls out when you remove the tray with poop.Will be getting another one for my mom.

Not worth the money. Just get the self cleaning litter. Cheaply made product for the price. I expected at least more sturdy plastic & not very easy to clean or convenient given the concept idea. Just not worth it. I've had to spend as much time cleaning this already as my previous one. And because it's a screw on it's gonna be harder to fully clean it out. Don't throw away old litter box. Or just go with self cleaning litter
