This is a review for the wired version.After looking at all the options available, this ended up suiting my needs best because once wired into the vehicle the only thing required is the monthly service fee.I am giving them a three out of five because I think there is still some improvement that can happen with the app interface. specifically being able to click from a location and have the google maps app be able to open it up and provide address information that you can use to navigate. Right now this is only achievable if you open a browser page and cut and paste the address info provided into google maps. Less than seamless.I know you guys are reading, please push some more dev funds into your apps.Set up/installation was very easy.After doing a brief google search for my cars make and model wiring diagram I had everything I required in order to wire it up.Registration on line was easy, once you put your email in, Linxup sends you an email right away with login confirmation and a account number which you will need to log in.The overall function of the unit, tracking via the website is acceptable to me at this price point.(Opinion disclaimer) There are a lot of reviews that complain about how Linxup displays on Google maps that I believe are based upon unrealistic expectations and/or a lack of understanding of how how the Google maps API functions. This is not a mapping device, it is a GPS tracking tool. When you use the google map function, it is taking a start and finish street address and using a algorithm to suggest a route based upon learned street and highway designations. As anyone knows, this isn't always perfect system and at least 9 times out of 10 google suggests a route that might be less then optimal. In this case (the Linxup), google maps is being provided GPS coordinates every 60 seconds. so it plots them sequentially on the map as received, job done. The fact that there isn't a specific route marked out, (like standard google maps directions route suggestions), is likely based on two key factors, one is that the GPS system device would be required to post more frequently, the second is that google maps algorithm was not (or has not yet) been designed to make assumptions based upon GPS poling results.

This thing is awesome! I hooked it to the car power and ignition wire as instructions show. Gives continuous readings. It also has a built in battery that keeps it alive if someone tries to disconnect power or cuts wires. It stays on for many days on less than 3 to 1 volts. Car voltage is 14 when driving and 13 when just shut off. 12 when sitting for an hour or for days. Gps map is fantastic! Gives you instantaneous pinpoint location on a google map and information. You can select history and see the route for any time period displayed as lines and arrows on the map with info dots displayed at set time intervals. And there is so much more. Downloads. Spreadsheets. Reports. Fleet options. You get so much information and value for only $22 a month.

Update 11/3/20After countless hours of trying to troubleshoot shoot this device I found out the wiring harness was faulty. I called customer service and they had the gull to CHARGE me to send a new wiring harness on a device that was faulty out of the box. I couldn't wrap my head around it. I am probably going to search for a new providerThis is a very useful tool.The installation is a little more involved than I thought but it took me about 1.5 hours to find the right wires then about 10 minutes to install with the right connectors. Its not as hardwired as I was hoping for. It has a wire hardness on it that can still be unplugged but at least with this model it can be hidden and not removed as easily as the plug in kind.The app works well. Does a good job of tracking and showing all happenings with the work vehicle. Another thing I like as a side bonus is there is no wondering how much time was spent at a specific spot for billing purposes. If there's ever an issue I just look at the GPS report and check the times between trips.

Precise positioning, fast updates (except for the rare occasions when -- apparently -- their server is busy, and even then it's quick). It's a great aid to business, and a great comfort for family.And the product support is outstanding; I had a minor warranty issue, and notified the company by email. I was answered within three hours, and they treated me as if I were their oldest, most valued customer. They're going to get all my trade, and I recommend them without reservation.

Very nice product. Had a little confusion on set-up because it was purchased through Amazon, but a quick call to their customer care had it fixed in minutes which to me was even more impressive that I didn't have to hold for 20-30 mins or make multiple calls.Installation was easy even on the hard wired one, just know that there are more wires than you need for the basic installation, which the instructions state.

Yesterday my sons car was in Nigeria Africa the GPS head and I knew exactly where it was because it went from my driveway to his moms driveway 9 miles apart but the GPS said it Went to Africa. I like the product I’m guessing there was a little glitch. But no reach out from the company after I said what the heck is going on

Worked like a dream :) Easy to use but I had to have it professionally installed.

Easy to install. Im giving it 4 stars because the gps location is sometimes delayed.
