are the best English translations of the bazi I've found
This book and his earlier book, The Four Pillars of Destiny, are the best English translations of the bazi I've found. There are several "cupcake" bazi books out there, that string you along with nuggets of info, but have no real meat, quality, or depth. On the other hand, these two books are so dense with info they require true time and study—and only get better with multiple readings. I've been tracking my bazi days, applying the theories and principles to daily life, and so far these books have been right on track. If you're looking to study bazi, to actually improve (as much as we are able) the flow of your life and yourself, then this is an excellent place to start. The first book, The Four Pillars of Destiny, lays the foundation and outlines different types of daymasters and flow. This book goes a step further—applying the principles to your relationships and finding your life partner (or dealing with the one you have). Both have helped me tremendously, and I'm sure they'll do the same for you.

Great book on feng shui for relationships!
Loved this book. If you'd like to understand and analyze how you and your partner's charts affects one another, this is the book for you. I've seen quite a few books on using Feng Shui to understand your life path, but none that focus solely on relationships. A really interesting read with lots of detailed examples from famous individuals - for example, why Liz Taylor, with her beauty, talent, and success, had to marry multiple times.

Inaccurate, inconsistent and irreverent!
Inconsistent explanations of their inaccurate theories by irreverently making references to historical figures and past and present celebrities with remarks like the former first lady Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis "brought misfortune to her husbands", rendering the book very uneasy to read.It seems like the author has certain personal biases for and against some of those people whose birth charts were used as examples to back her retrofitting-based theories.
