Green Start Book Towers: Little Learning

To be honest I was disappointed when I received these books, they were so small and each page was so thick so its like 3/4 pages per book. I was thinking of returning them and did not give to my granddaughter as one of her gifts. Days after Christmas she came to visit and saw the books and handed them to me to open and I thought what the heck, so I did and gave them to her and to my surprise she loves them. She sat down and went through each book page by page. Each time she comes over she wants these books, go figure, a two year old knows me than me.

Well too chunky. Just 4 thick pages each book. Not vibrant at all. Having said that my 15 mo old loves them. She like to open each one and look at them and makes me read it. The box is inconvenient to put and take out.

This was by far my son's favorite first birthday present! Half the fun was putting the block books in and out of the box. It was one of his go to toys/books for 6 months. Since then I've gotten this for two friend's kids on their first birthdays as well, and they had the same reaction as my child.

My baby eats books alive....literally!....minus the alive part. Anyways, regular board books do NOT hold up to her teething and destructive ways. These Green Start books however, DO! I love them. She has attempted to take them through the wringer, but she has had no success. They're still doing great, look just as brand new as the day she opened them (months ago) and I love them so much I'm going to buy more of them for christmas. I also bought her the bigger "One Tree" book by Green Start Books and it is just as awesome.

I loved these books when I saw them at a local bookstore so I purchased them on Amazon and have since then collected a few others from the same publisher. I was first attracted to the kraft brown background and the colorful pictures but the board books are some of the most chunky and durable I've seen and my infant and toddler (boys) have yet to destroy or weaken the corners or bridges. They take a beating and still look presentable. Each page consists of one of few words and very bright and lively images and they're so fun. My 15 month old loves to just sit around and flip through them or stack them like blocks.

My 1yr old loves to play with these, we have a few in the car so she can be entertain while we go from point A to B. The actual content is pretty good as well...well rounded books, cover animals, letters, family members.. we love them! Thanks!

The recycled cardboard is not one year old user friendly . Not easily wiped clean. Also pictures and story did not interest our one year old as other board books do. Really wish we would not have purchased this particular item

Don't get it if your kid likes bright colors. The books are durable in the sense that it's hard to bite on or tear apart but it's not really the kind of book a kid would be attracted to. Get the "First 100" three book series instead.
