Do Not buy not worth the trouble.
Would not recommend this item. It is very slow to turn on and the charge does not last as long as indicated. I guess for $80. you should not expect much. I bought it for my granddaughter, but it is not user friendly. I would send it back, but I missed the cut-off date.

Tablet worked great. Easy to set up and use
Really appreciated the customer service when we had issues with the charger. Tablet worked great. Easy to set up and use, especially for a first time tablet owner.

Useless
Basically useless for anything besides slideshow photos. All apps crash constantly, keyboard messes up if you attempt to type at all fast, and buttons push themselves constantly. Useless

A perfect budget tablet.
I can say I am very happy with my new tablet, it comes in at a more than reasonable price for the specs it boasts and if you're still not sure about buying a budget tablet then the years warranty should help put your mind at rest.It is very easy to use, you probably won't even need to read the instructions booklet unless you're going to be doing some advanced computing. It comes with a mains charger, headphones, a USB adapter and best of all......... a pre-fitted screen protector! Yay! No bubbles.I'm not using this for business, purely pleasure so I can't tell you about syncing files or drop boxing etc by I can tell you that its great for browsing, video streaming, audio books and a bit of gaming.I am impressed with my purchase and would advise anyone looking to get a budget tablet to give this some serious thought, they don't come much better than this valuewise.

The price is fantastic. And it does exactly what it says
I cannot fault this tablet at all. The price is fantastic. And it does exactly what it says! I won't go into detail about the specs etc...as nearly every other review has done that.I bought a non branded low end tablet before this for my daughter at the same price. ...it was a pile of rubbish so I was a bit unsure when I had to replace it with a similar price bracket tablet...but I didn't need to worry. The screen is clear and smooth. Loads of internal memory and Quick to set up. Easy to use. Ticks all the boxes and the seller was quick to communicate and dispatch.Thank you.

Great value
For such a good price, this tablet really is good. Viewing angles aren't amazing, by the screen is clear enough for my requirements. Build quality is fairly solid, though as you would expect at this price point, it's predominantly plastic. However, it is sufficiently weighty to allow you to hold it steady and doesn't feel like it's about to fall apart in your hands, at any given moment. At this price point, I'd be surprised to find anything better and I have purchased quite a few of this model, for use with my Entertainment industry client.

Brilliant: Incredible value that puts expensive tablets to shame!
This is an extensive review which I hope will be useful to both those with and without technical knowledge.I ordered the PolaTab Elite(New 2015 Model) having previously had a bad experience with a different generic Chinese tablet. Disillusioned, I ended up buying a 10 inch Windows 8.1 tablet which, although very good value considering what it was, was let down by a lack of RAM (still only 2 Gb) and the horrible, slow and "incompatible with most programs" Windows 8.1 operating system. Thus, the hunt for a cheap - but hopefully good - Android tablet began; even though all Android tablets are presently of much less use than a PC. I had also decided I was NOT going to spend upwards of £250 on a major brand for the sake of the name.General specification:The published spec on the PolaTab is not accurate; in a good way. The SD capacity is specified as 32Gb; imagine my pleasurable surprise therefore when the tablet accepted my 64Gb card with no problem at all. I should point out that the card had had been used previously in the Windows tablet and all the document and other files were still intact. The PolaTab is the first Android tablet I have found that is so flexible; most are not so accommodating.Strangely, the only thing that told me that this was in fact a PolaTab Elite, was the box; there is no logo on the back of the tablet at all.The published internal storage is 8Gb. This is also incorrect as the internal storage is in fact 16 Gb; another welcome bonus. In fact, the only downside to the spec is the 1 Gb RAM. Although most tablets have only 1 Gb, 2Gb would be much better and would cost the manufacturers less than a penny to implement. The tablet uses Android 4.4.2 and operates flawlessly. If the update to Lollipop ever becomes available for the PolaTab Elite, don't upgrade; it will screw up your tablet's efficiency, just as it has with millions of mobiles all over the world. Let Google sort out the numerous bugs first.CPU:The quad-core CPU in my tablet is the successful A33 AllWinner processor. I know this because when booting up, the AllWinner logo proudly presents itself in all its glory. However, it should be noted that all specs are subject to change, including the use of different components at different times. For those sad people like me who are interested in tech details, the A33 boasts:* Pin-compatible with A23 dual core* Four CortexTM-A7 CPUs and Mali400MP2 GPU* 1080p video playback and capture* Integrated MIPI DSI controller, up to 1280x800* SmartColor display technology* Integrated Hi-Fi audio codec* Ultra-low power consumptionDisplay:The PolaTab Elite screen is very good and more than adequate for all those with normal vision. It's bright, clear, quick and very detailed with radiant colours. It also comes with a factory-fitted screen protector; anyone who has tried to fit a 10 inch screen protector without having bubbles everywhere will be extremely grateful for this addition! So, what more do you want from a screen?Well, I downloaded and played some power hungry games (EA's Real Driving for example) and the result was remarkable. Even the fastest, most graphic-intensive games displayed brilliantly and with a FPS of between 25-30 FPS. The tablet got pretty hot meanwhile, particularly as it was connected to Wi-Fi at the time. Nevertheless, a brilliant achievement from such a low-priced tablet. Note, I haven't used the word `cheap' because apart from the price, nothing feels `cheap' about the PolaTab Elite.Interface/integrated apps:I have a Samsung S4 mobile which is a brilliant phone. However, it took me a whole day to get rid of the `bloat ware' that infested it. iPads are no different; they are littered with useless, rubbish apps of one kind or another. I am delighted to say that the PolaTab Elite is quite different.Every app that is included - and there are many - is useful and contributes to the usability and functionality of the tablet. In particular, the full version of ES File Explorer is included. Why is this so important? Because the full ES contains an FTP server module enabling the tablet to communicate on a Wi-Fi network. Within 30 minutes, my tablet was accessing all the files on my PC - and vice versa.(*NB: Some technical knowledge is necessary to get the PC to talk to the tablet - a normal Microsoft trait I'm afraid.)The PolaTab Elite interface is perhaps a little `clunky'. When accessing Wi-Fi controls for example, you have to go through 3 screens instead of two; this is easily remedied by putting a Wi-Fi link (app) on the home screen. It's a small point but one that should be mentioned, given that the likes of Samsung provide excellent interface paradigms which could easily be copied by the PolaTab Elite if its Chinese manufacturers wanted to implement it.Battery life:All tablet suppliers, without exception, exaggerate the `average' battery life quoted in their specs. To be fair, there is no `average', each individual user having different requirements. In terms of the PolaTab Elite, about 4.5 hours of continuous use can be expected if browsing; about 3.5 when watching a streamed film and as much as 6 hours if the Wi-Fi is turned off and you are simply using a word-processor. I recommend the new OpenOffice which is free and absolutely brilliant with even a cheap USB keyboard cover. On this basis, if you use the `power off' and `fast boot' provisions of the PolaTab Elite, you can easily make the tablet last a working day.If on the other hand you want to play graphic-intensive games or anything connected to Wi-Fi, your battery life will be cut significantly. Best to use the tablet plugged-in, though this applies to any tablet - or laptop for that matter. Conclusion:Given that the PolaTab Elite comes with a reasonable set of earphones, a standard to micro USB conversion lead and various other accessories, it is hard to fault it. The lead on the charger is too short, being designed for the Americans and their desk-high wall sockets, but the suppliers tell me that they are going to put a longer lead on the next model. Incidentally, the charge time is less than 3 hours from empty. Pretty good by any standards. The PolaTab Elite is by the way, serviced from the UK, not China. Having spoken to the supplier, I can confirm that customer service and support is excellentIn short, the PolaTab Elite offers exceptional quality, functionality and efficiency, all wrapped up in a surprisingly thin unit which looks more expensive than it is. I defy anyone to find better value for money at this price point. Simply brilliant.
