Craftsman, an American Icon.
Now in my 70s, I have from my youth always preferred Craftsman tools and their warranty. It seems as time goes by they are challenged by an ever growing world wide competition. These sockets appear to still maintain the Craftsman quality reputation. For myself, Craftsman and their pride represented American tradition. I hope they stay true.

Nice set
Nice little add on set. I only have these in deep sockets so I needed a set of shallow ones and these fit the bull perfectly plus they are craftsman, don’t know if they are Chinese or US made but heck, if they strip break or wear out it’s just a trip to any store selling craftsman to get them replaced for free!

Great quality at reasonable price
I have been a Craftsmen customer for over 60 years and these sockets are still as good as the ones I got as a "kid". The only reason I have to replace is because they grow feet and walk off.

Set is not as pictured
I’ve purchased these Craftsman sets before and wanted another one for a small field toolbox I’m putting together. The main reason I selected this set is that the old version had an extension that has a handle at one end, so you could use it with sockets as a driver, or attach a ratchet and use it as an extension. On this new version the piece with a handle just has the 1/4” male drive for attaching sockets and no female drive. I’m disappointed and hoping that I can find an older style set because the newer version sucks for my purposes. I work in aviation and having a compact field toolbox and the older double ended style fit the bill perfectly, s it could serve as both a spinner handle and as an extension.

Decent Enough
I needed some 1/4" socket extensions and went with this since most of my stuff is (old) Craftsman, and the screwdriver handle seemed like a bonus. But being a bonus, I shouldn't be disappointed that it has no ratchet action (not that any was claimed anywhere). I am happy to see that despite the product info stating it is made in China, my copy (with the bi-material red and black handle, not as pictured on the page) was manufactured in Taiwan and not PRC.

Item was not as pictured.
Item recieved was not the same as pictured. It's an updated version. Photos show the old version I've had for many years as a comparison. New version is comfortable in the hand and the handle material offers better purchase than the old. Happy with it overall. A suggestion to Craftsman for a future update would be to include a 1/4" female drive such as featured on the Snap On equivalent in the final photo.

Increible
