Good looking, not very manoeuvrable.
I purchased these skates as an introductory set of skates for roller derby, the main reason I was attracted to the skates was the aesthetics and I still think they are very pleasing stylistically; however they are a little on the expensive side for an introductory-level skate.I have been skating on these for approximately 3 months now and have been putting them through their paces and I would say the following about them:1. I have had problems with the front trucks on both the left and the right skate, they do not keep a neutral position well and can end up getting skewed to one side so that the skate steers in that direction when no weight is applied, I'm not sure if this is a defect in my skates or something general to the model. I have managed to rectify this by repositioning the truck and tightening the bolts, but the tighter they are done up the less manoeuvrable they become.2. The skate is very comfortable to wear with a lot of padding inside, I have not had much trouble with the skate slipping, or any discomfort when running on the toe stops or braking hard, the laces and velcro keep the skate securely fastened.3. The overall manoeuvrability of the trucks is quite limiting, it is difficult to steer the skate when skating on one foot and when travelling at high speed.Overall I'm happy with the skate, and may keep the shoe and upgrade the plate/trucks, but I would recommend splashing out the extra £30 and getting a slightly higher end skate.

Two Stars
Quite a stiff boot that I found uncomfortable as they are a bit too narrow for me.

Great value
Couldn't afford to spend hundreds of pounds on skates but my daughter said these skates are marvelous. Extremely comfortable and work really well.
