The translator is great tool, small, lightweight, likes a phone, very easy to carry around. And it is very easy to use, only take less than 1 minute to figure out how to navigate the buttons and functions. It comes with a screen where I can see the translations. It is accurate and the device can be recharged just like any cell phone. There are 106 languages to translate. Great for my mom communicate with American family and friends. I say English. It will translate to the Chinese. It also a great tool to help her study English and translate documents from English to Chinese in few seconds just by taking a picture.This is also a very useful product, perfect for traveling. Very pleased with the translation results. It works super-fast as well. Can’t wait to bring this device for my Europe trip.

There were no instructions. Very difficult to use, so I wasted over $200. Not Happy.

I tried all 3 translation functions. Here is the verdict: 1. The voice translation between English and Chinese works well for single sentence. I didn't try more than 1 sentence. 2. Photo translation between English and Chinese works well for single sentence. For paragraph, the photo needs to be clear for all words, or it skips words, and the translation sometimes is too literal (probablly a feature for AI). when I tried to translate the label on a Korean drink, the results were confusing, I took 3 photos for it to finally give the right translation, it didn't give the expect translation.for the first 2 times 3. Recording translation doesn't seem to work at all. The thing that really makes ths machine not very useful for travel is that it requires password authenticated network connection to work.Since there are translators that work without the requirement of network connection at a lower price, it makes this machine not worth the price by far.

The device works only one way Translating English to any-other Language.I have a pin pal in Japan how writes me some time in Japanese The Vertical way and sent me some J-Novels. I tried this on them but all I got was Word over-lap or single letters going at angles, but when I tried it with a letter I word him The print was fine (No missing, bad angled words and over-lap). In short only works good for any Language but English.

While I saw a lot of review on this product, I was convinced to go and buy one for my self to try. I have to say I was impress by a lot of things this product was able to do, although it doesn’t function much without internet or WiFi, that’s not an issue since it saves the translations before and they can be used for study or for similar circumstances, however; the one problem I had with this product is that it doesn’t recognize certain words like “Gen” or when I ask/ say things like “I work at Bucca di beppo” into any language it doesn’t seem to translate them very well. Please fix that, but other than that this device has been a huge help, just a bit more updates. Make sure that it is able to translate slang or street wise words too for the updates.

This translator is very easy to use. You can choose one language and speak to the translator and then the translation will speak out with the text showing in the touch screen. You can take a picture of something in a different language and it will translate it for you. Ive been searching for this kind devise for a long time because it can eliminate the time to use a dictionary. It is much better than I expected. I tested the devise with my Korean neighbor and he said the translation is very accurate. Hopefully this translator would be very helpful for my parents. This is a high quality translator, and it works great, and I truly love it!

I have no idea if this product works or how well, if it does. I was able to connect to my home wi-fi but unable to connect to my cellphone hotspot despite several tries in different locations. I emailed product support and had to wait 24 hours for a response that merely regurgitated my question in the same words. Then I waited another 24 hours before getting a second response saying that the problem was not the translator but my cell phone, which I successfully use as a hotspot to connect several different devices daily. I never received another response.

Holiday season is coming, took the recommendation from a friend and ordered this device for my upcoming journey in Mexico, it’s much smaller and portable than I thought, easy to use it with the sensitive touch screen, I even tested several times in a Mexican restaurant( need WiFi or cellar data), translation is accurate and quick without errors if I speak slow and clear. Also did try the cam scanner, words are recognized and converted precisely, so far it is reliable.
